HOW CAN ALL OF THE PARTS OF THE JAIL BE FULL WHEN SHE'S IN A CELL BY HERSELF?

Sorry for the caps, but I think my point is made.

the cell she was in could have been used by more serious inmates. There were no other empty cells. what part of that do you not understand?

i swear i dont understand how people can feel like she deserves 40 days for reckless driving and driving with a suspended license. It's absolutely crazy. The only reason she is still in the custody of the sherriff's department is because she is famous and the judge wanted to make an example out of her.

The cell wasn't though... they could have added another person in there...

There was a cell that was not full... therefore the jail was not full... catch my drift?

          No, I don't.

How many other inmates were released early who had committed more serious crimes to make room for the ever-rotating cycle of inmates (Hilton inlcuded)?

They don't put people in that part of jail for no reason, they are there because they have some sort of celebrity status, whether it be from being rich or the media surrounding the case. They wouldn't put anyone there who didn't qualify. People feels she deserves the sentence because she had THREE CHANCES and her ******* still drove around and blamed it on her publicist. If I got caught driving drunk I would never just be given a slap on the wrist and probation and I sure as hell wouldn't be allowed to violate my probation twice and then use "well I didn't know my license was suspended" as my defense without getting laughed out of court.

Aw come on Johnny, lets face it-this particular story has legs the size of King Kong. The still frame(that's all I saw) of Paris crying in the police car was priceless. What was hard to stomach was our moral compass Rev Sharpton getting involved.

lol ok so they should have givin her a cellmate? Perhaps they could have matched her with someone that is awaiting trial for murder? yea, that would be the right thing to do. what a joke. she is famous. you dont match her up with just anyone. That would be asking for trouble. It is their responsibility to protect their inmates.

she is in there for a class B misdemeanor. 90 percent of the people in that jail are there for felonies and they are gridlocked with more people with serious charges that they need room for.

If it were you or me and we were in jail for those charges, we would both be out by now. They are making an example out of her and using the girl as a media football, and its BS.

You need to take some criminal justice classes. You dont seem know how the "justice" system usually works i guess. or maybe you should go to jail sometime, for a misdemeanor.

The jail can't be full if there's a non-full cell. That's like saying, this ice tray is full but there's no ice cube in one of the slots.

I'm not saying anything about if they should have put someone in there with her... I'm commenting on how you think the jail is full.

And why should I take criminal justice classes when I'm talking about pure logic?

i just cant imagine all the resources and timed used on a simple misdemenor.

3-4 cop car escorts... press conferences.

they could be doing real work out there trying to get gangs off the streets

usually it would take three DUIs to get jail time

but fyi, her charge is reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.

Her charge was reduced and she was given probation. She was stopped for driving under the influence, her charge being reduced doesn't mean that it didn't happen, it means that she got a favorable deal.
