Martha Stewart was able to leave her house for "business" when she was under house arrest, I'm sure Paris will find someway to be able to leave the house.

not much of a house arrest with a 20 acre plot of land to roam around on. i wouldnt leave home if i had the choice if i lived there lol. and she has to do it for punishement?

Yeah I hear that, but still not being able to leave when you want does get pretty trying. I know it is better than jail, but still it would suck. I heard that it is some Medical reason, who knows. I think if this happens again they should really give her some hard time labor.

We need to build a Roman Gladiator type arena here in the states. People like Paris Hilton would be my prime canidates to throw to the lions.

You know what I wish, I just wish the media would stop covering her... it would end all the problems... If she leaves today and no one is there to talk about it, do any of us care? It's the media we should blame for covering this no talent hack, not Paris herself.

Stop the coverage, and Paris is still a rich spoiled brat, but she'll be a rich spoiled brat that is removed from the public eye and thus becomes a thing of the past that we would thankfully never have to hear about again.

Seriously though,I with you. It pisses me off,I tune in to CNN or Fox for real news,only to see Paris Hilton or a drunken Lindsay Lohan on my TV screen. It justs shows how sad we've become has a nation. Instead of wanting to know about real issues in this country,we'd rather see somebody whose never had to worry about a thing in her life.

This is off topic but related to your comments about Fox and CNN. I was traveling out of the country a few weeks back and didn't have to deal with any of these conglomerate media channels. Anyway, upon my return to JFK airport in New York, there were giant LCD TV's displaying CNN tv in the immigration line.

I walked past the TV and the anchor was having a discussion with panel members about a Congressman saying "bull$hit" in public. My eyes popped in disbelief at the sheer idiocy and unimportance of this "event" in the grand scheme of the universe. This country really focuses on idiotic things way too much in the media. I guess that's what happens when the only neighboring countries are Canada and Mexico..

I am also concerned that the judicial process may have been improperly circumvented in this case. Ms. Hilton was incarcerated as a condition of her probation. As a result, the judge retained jurisdiction over her case and only the judge has the power to modify these conditions of probation. If Ms. Hilton's medical condition truly warranted a change in her circumstances, what should have happened is the following: Ms. Hilton's legal counsel should have filed an emergency application with the court and provided my office with the opportunity to respond, and then the court could have held a hearing on the matter to consider whether there was sufficient justification to change the terms of his original order. I have directed my criminal branch to immediately explore all possible legal options to ensure that the law is being applied equally and justly in this case.

I mean really...do you guys really hope she dies? That ridiculous. You can't blame her for doing the things that she does if the system allows her to get away with it. I've figured it out a long time ago....The system is not biased towards celebreties...it's all about being able to afford a top lawyer that knows the ins and outs of the system and that probably rub elbows with a lot of the judges. The reason it looks like celebreties are always getting off the hook is because they have the money to afford the best lawyers where as the common man can only afford a very average lawyer with probably little respect in the system. So don't hate on her...she's just working the system just like anyone else would do if they could.

The DA should file charges against the jail/police and go arrest her and take her back to jail. Who did they make this deal with? If the DA had no clue and the jjudge didn't order it, who gave the authorization to release her? The DA has a badge, go get her.

If she really had a medical problem, send her to the hospital, put an IV in her neck and send her back to jail.

[Edit]After the other link, it appears that the sheriff was paid off or was scared/told that he would be sued if something happened because the idiot didn't want to eat.
