It is total BS what people with money can get out of.

DUI, Drug dealing, Murder....you basically would have to firebomb a school or church to have to serve ANY time if you are either a)a celebrity or b)rich.

This is total crap. Most places nowadays have jail time for first time DUI offenders. Not only did she get probation, but she jacked her probation and is still out after 2 days? Any non famous person woulda been riding Bubba's love pole in jail for a month.

God I hope next time she drives drunk she just dies, the world would be a considerably better place, especially if during her funeral the earth opened up and sucked everyone present inside.

Yeah, now California just gave every single prisoner a precedent to demand out of jail. I seriously wonder how many writs of habeas will be filed in California within the next week. Lord knows if I was a defense attorney in California (and I almost took the California bar exam this summer) I'd file one for every last one of my clients. If this excuse for anal sex can get out because she doesn't like the food, then every other prisoner not serving a murder or rape sentence should too.

True, but at least she'd be wasting less oxygen and helping to fertilize some grass at the grave yard. I think it is unarguable that she would be more valuable to the world in that capacity than she is in her current one.

Why isn't there more outrage about this? The woman is cited twice for driving with a suspended license, cited for driving under the influence, and was not cooperating with the officer. Any other person would have had the book thrown at them. Paris Hilton does not provide any service to the community to warrant reduced sentencing. Why is she being given preferencial treatment?

Probably because the situation doesn't involve race. But I'm surprised there's next to no outrage about it myself
