I too am looking forward to it because I love the genre, but does anyone else feel like there is a trend coming where we will just see mob movies made with different ethnicities each time?

No, because not every ethnic mob has such deep, true, untapped cinematic potential.

New Jack City is the only black gangster film. Tons of gangsta films, only one gangster film.

This looks to blow NJC away in everything but cultural impact.

Almost November 2nd...I can see this being the movie of the year. Some critics are comparing in to Goodfellas, Scarface and The Godfather so that can't be a bad thing. I'll be there first day.

If it's as good as those movies, man...We will have a winner or our hands.
