Mood, that Blueprint album was his second best to Reasonable Doubt. All his other albums were ehhh.

Seeing how it's getting 100% with a handful of ratings on RT's, I was curious as to what they gave Training Day. It actually got a 73%. I was shocked.

It definitely does not disappoint. I won't spoil anything and yet I don't want to hype it up too much. Suffice it to say, it's a great movie. The only downside is how many rappers and wannabe gangsters start calling themselves Frank Lucas in the near future.

Lets not hype it up to the point where it ruins it. I know for a fact that I'll like it as I like most gangsta films.

All that can be said is: villian Denzel=hit.

As far as classic status goes, it does have that vibe like when the time Menace to Society dropped but I'd hate to overhype it to the point where I scruntinize the film to death.

Do yourself a favor and check out this article written about the real Frank Lucas right HERE.It may contain some type of spoilers if you want to see this movie without any knowledge of this guy.

Even while knowing the real story of this guy, I'm still anticipating this movie.

I still remember when Menace dropped. Every so called thug I knew dug up some pocket change to go see that movie. When I went, it was one of the only times I seen more dudes than chicks at the theater. Then of course, violence erupted cause everybody felt gangsta after that last scene.

Yeah that's the thing I am saying. It IS a great movie, I just don't want to overhype it for anyone. An example would be for me, when 300 came out. A lot of people were posting stuff like "Greatest Action Movie Ever!" and when I finally saw it, I was like "Meh". I don't think many will be disappointed with this though, very good film. I am already looking forward to adding the dvd to my collection, and I rarely buy dvds these days.
