Dude.. don't do that. Those things are hideous. Makes my skin crawl, knowing that there's probably one within 250' of me right now, somewhere lurking, lol.

          Re: Scorpion problem

I hate spiders, snakes, and bees. I could live a much happier life knowing none of these three were in existence. I have found so many spiders around my computer, and each time I almost have a heart attack. I just cannot stand the way that they look and act. I'm not afraid of being stunk or bitten, I just can't stand them.

I woke up to a spider crawling on my leg one night, and I will admit I freaked. I jumped up from my bed, and ran around in circles in my bedroom. I basically got naked on the spot, and started brushing myself off. Just an awful experience.

I've also been stung in the face by a bee, one of reasons I am turned off by them no. I had no problems with bees until a yellow jacket got me in the face. I was on my porch, and as soon as I got stung, I jumped off into the grass. Landed in an awkward position and felt like I broke my back. Stupid bees.

I've never had any "encounters" with snakes. I just hate them with a passion. They are so creepy looking, scares the **** out of me.

I am SO glad the pic Motown posted is a red X.

Please, no more gruesome pics of what the brown recluse can do. It's nauseating.

I woke up with a Giant Wood Spider on my chest around 8 years ago. For those of you who don't know what they are, they are Giant Harry Spiders that look like Tarantula's, except they are bigger. I woke up because I felt a tickle on my chest, and turned on the light, and it was sitting there looking at me.

I brushed it off, and grabbed the baseball bat out of the corner, and started chasing it, lol. I finally killed the stupid thing. Talk about a scary moment. They aren't poisiness, but they will make you very sick if you get bit.

I know this isn't funny, but an image popped into my head and I busted a gutI probably would've had a heart attack...that's no joke,me and bugs...pft no way.

I remember living in Cali a couple of years ago,we didn't know it at the time....but anyway I'm sitting on the floor playing my xbox in the dark (only light was the tv).....when I "thought" I seen a dark shadow run across the floor....It scared the hell outta me,so I jumped up and turned the light on...only to see the biggest ****** roach I've EVER seen.

I could not believe this thing....the little ******was fast too, needless to say...the next day I bought a wireless controller and sat my *** on the couch.

Right before we moved...my wife and I were sleeping, when she all of a sudden jumped up and yelled (again...scared the crap outta me) which woke me up,only to look down and see another roach in the bed.

She woke up because she felt the thing run across her face....

So I do sympathize about the scorpion problem. hopefully you don't awake to find them in your bed....or your childs bed.

                    Re: Scorpion problem

I know we have a bunch of north carolina people here, so I'll just say we have these here too. I was doing a summer job a few years back and we went under a house to work on the foundation. There were scorpions in the crawl space.

                    I was certainly surprised..

:y4: No problem. Looking back on it, it was funny. It was scary as hell at the time. It took me to a full count before I finally made contact, lol.
