Re: The new "Frat Pack" in Hollywood

People arguing about what is truly funny, is ironically funny in itself. If you think something is funny, it's funny. Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you know what comedy is, and that person doesn't. If you can't appreciate dumb humor, well I guess you are just too smart apparently to enjoy a wider variety of movies. Sucks to be you, cause your library is that much smaller.

On a side note, I don't get why some people feel they are somehow smarter because their top-10 movies list includes the same ones everyone else has. Quit living in the past, Casablanca is probably a "good" movie, but I guarantee if I watched it now, I would get no entertainment value from it.

I think the "New Frat Pack" needs a little more time to hit their stride, but i like what I'm seeing.

I definitely want to see more of Segel (and other How I Met Your Mother actors, different topic), I need to rent Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared too...I've heard they were great shows, just missed them when they were on (Being in college killed my tv watching)

Indeed, one of my top 5 guilty pleasure movies... it should be really bad, but damn if it doesn't make me laugh throughout.

Well worth the purchase! 'Undeclared' was particularly good.

I think John Krasinski has the potential to become a member of this "Frat Pack"... but he will need at least 1 breakout film to go along with "The Office".

P.S. Johnny how can you call "Zoolander" dog ****?!? I agreed with almost every movie on your list, so I thought we had similar tastes... apparently not.

Just not a Ben Stiller fan!

He was good in Mary, and his over-the-top character in 'Dodgeball' was appropriate, but 'Zoolander' was just boring.

To be honest though, it might be a lot funnier on a re-watch, much like 'The 40 Year Old Virgin'. Lame the first time, but humorous the second.
