What does being a sequal or not have to do with anything? It's still a Die Hard movie, which would make the next one the 5th movie in the Die Hard series.

He was just trying to say he was disappointed with the movie. I thought that was pretty obvious.

No. I didn't forget any,

I don't count Live Free or Die Hard, as a Die Hard sequel.

It can't be any worse than the sequel to The Ring. Samara or not, this movie was as far off from the original as it possibly could be while being complete and utter ****.

Thankfully, I think (and hope) they'll come out with another sequel that almost forgets about the crap they gave us in 2005.

The Ring II had some major issues which if they come out with a 3rd one, I hope they really think the story out more this time.

So, to answer my own question... YES, they are coming out with an Unrated Two-Disc DVD. I've heard there are about 30+ F-bombs and a little extra blood here and there. In other words, it's the rated R version of this movie... but it's not rated.

Anyway, I saw this movie for the first time last night. I really enjoyed it, and I'm getting it for Christmas for sure. The biggest problem, like everyone else says, is that it's not the same Die Hard or John McClane that we know and love from the first one. That's not to say that it's a bad thing, but this could [more or less] easily be re-written to be part of some other franchise as well. Nevertheless, it was a very good movie, and I'm happy they made it.



DVD comes out tomorrow.

Yeah, but the infamous line is not in the unrated movie either. I'm getting the rated Blu-ray.

Yeah, you are correct which makes no sense that they did that. When Willis says Yippe-Kai-Yah (sp.), just finish it off with Mother ****er. LOL!

I just watched the unrated version and he most definitely does say the infamous line! So not sure what this is all about...maybe EG accidentally watched the PG-13 version since both are on the same DVD.

I thought it was a very nice addition to the Die Hard series. Over the top? Yeah it was but a good, fun popcorn action movie for sure. I liked it when McLane fought the Asian girl the best, that was a good fight..

I actually went off reviews. Since I saw and loved the PG-13 version, I just got the Blu-ray 4 pack since I don't own the other movies either. I'm happy with them.

So, first you wanted the PG-13 version because the Unrated version "didn't have the line", and now you got the PG-13 version because "the line the Unrated version had seemed tacked on"?

Haha I'm just kidding. I agree with you. I'm even pissed that that one scene that looked obviously edited is still the exact same. I guess that wasn't an edit to change the MPAA... I think it was just sloppy post-production editing as a whole. The only other thing I heard is the "I was out of bullets" line was changed with something else.

Overall, I think I'll go with the Unrated version. It has the PG-13 version on it, anyway.
