I have a theory about the creature of this movie.

There are supposed to be hints embedded into the Slusho website as well as in the trailer, including the sounds that the creature makes.

Well, after reading the History section at Slusho, its clear that there is a water theme to the movie, especially since they mentioned that their company's founder went missing at sea while trying to find the perfect ingredient for their drinks. The whale references mentioned were also too obvious to miss.

After once again listening to the sounds of the creature with this in mind, my best guess is that it is....a giant whale! If not that, then it is some kind of water creature, perhaps a giant squid or octopus? I am also guessing that its motivation to now attack people is that Slusho has taken something valuable for its ingredient from this creature to anger it.

Until we receive more hints, this is the best guess I've got.

I'll give you credit for coming up with a possible scenario. Honestly, if the movie is about a giant sea creature pissed off because a soft drink company was stealing a valuable ingredient then I'm done.

That would be amazingly corny and terrible.

I do like your theory on it being a water creature. I think it makes sense with the Statue of Liberty's head rolling around. I thought I read somewhere the the head is a hint. Not sure of what exactly.

That's true, normally they indeed plan ahead for movies so that they follow order. This just might not be the case, though.
