Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer
Well, I'll tell you this. After seeing that demon-looking image in that pic I've been looking all over the other pictures for something similar. I tried flipping, rotating, and moving the pictures all over the screen for something.
So far, nothing.
It seems that a search on the internet shows that other people noticed the same thing on that picture and thus far no one has officially commented on it. I would say that's because people are on to something."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer
Adding Cloverfield to the title of the thread.
I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE it when stuff is marketed like this. Dropping subtle hints here and there that are completely open to interpretation. I guess I get that from 3 years of 'Lost'PS4: aBayBates

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer
I did a little photoshop shadow/highlight adjustment to bring out the image more. I thought I just looked like hair as well, but with the adjustment it actually does look like a demon or something.

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
In NYC there was a steam pipe that exploded and (I'm watching it live now) there is steam and mud flying out of this pretty large gap, and it just seems like how the alien or w/e it is would come out. For anyone who lives in the tri-state area, you'll know exactly what I mean.Comment

Re: J.J. Abrams Trailer - "Cloverfield"
What do you mean "how it would come out?"
Are you assuming that the monster in Cloverfield will rise out of a ruptured paved street after a steam pipe explosion?
Or are you suggesting that someone should have that happen in a future film?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
