    Russell Crowe? UGH!

    "watches trailer"

Hmm, well doesn't look bad. I have the movie on DVD. I'll have to do a direct comparison when the remake comes out.

For all the Firefly fans, Alan Tudyk (Wash) has a role in the film.

      Comes out September 7th.

This, along with American Gangster, is my most anticipated film for the rest of the year. A team of Crowe, Bale, and Ben Foster (who apparently steals the show) in a western? Hell yes.

I went on a small Western kick this summer. I watched a few of the classics, and was wondering why many westerns haven't been made recently.

Considering the reviews, I'll probably see this.

A few reviews but they've all been outstanding.

I wasn't interested in this a month ago but the reviews are making me change my mind.

Recent reviews have brought it down to 83% on RT.

However, considering that most movies never even touch 70% or higher that 83% score must mean it's worthy of my time.

Some of those "rotten" reviews should actually be fresh reviews though, but I don't think that affects the % so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I'm a fan of westerns, but I'm more interested in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Actually the rotten reviews most certainly do affect the % so it does matter. But with that being said 83% is insane good by RT standards. I'll probably see it this weekend or early next weekend. It looks awesome.
