I've probably said this before in this thread, but they really should be using the comic book as the basis for the movie. It was way less corny than the TV show (characters actually got shot) and had some really great storylines.

I read (and this is serious) that they went away from the Awesome Cobra Commander look because it was too "Ku Klux Klan" ish. Hot garbage all the way.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Either way that was the most evil looking "look" for him in my opinion.

Not only did they get shot, but people died. Even the Joe's had deaths in the comic. Also, Snake-Eyes was a total badass in the comics too.

I read this as well. I knew this movie was gonna suck when GI JOE was turned into some kind of global task force. Yawn.

I know that they could have used that one but considering the Cobra soldiers are in all black and not the traditional Cobra uniform makes it all a moot point. The movie looks like total trash, like it was said before they should have used the comics as a base for the movie instead of whatever they did.

WOW! I just watched the IGN review of the game, and holy crap does it look like a game that was created for the PS2. Why would EA allow something like that out the gate is beyond me. I like that they used Contra as an inspiration, but my god what were they thinking. This is a $20 or less game imo, not even worth the $50.
