Big deal. As a fan, I'm enjoying the extra captions.

Looking Glass was worth watching again just to see Sayid snap that guys neck with his legs.

I'm just saying, most of the captions seem to be catering to the light or non-viewer, in the hopes of catching them up and gaining viewers for the premiere. To me, this was a big thing to do if that was their intention. I could care less, as I've already seen it twice.

I think it's gonna be the end of S4. Then they will be off for S5, and go back and crazy stuff will go down in S6.

Just a guess, no real basis for that.

Then you'd be wrong because it's already been confirmed that it isn't.

Wait... you think the last scene from Season 3 is the season ending scene of LOST in Season 6?

Unfortunately watching tonight reminded me of the worst part of Lost....the commercials every 7.5 - 8 minutes. I seriously don't think I've ever seen a show go to commercial more often than this one.

They actually gave it away at the very beginning when he was on the plane drinking. One of the first pop ups said it was a flash forward.

                            True.

It's the same thing I was thinking of everytime something exciting was about to happen.

And it's got me programmed. I know exactly when Lost will go into commercial.

If you haven't watched Lost then should you really be watching the Season Three Finale?

And if you are without having watched Lost then you needed the Enhanced version to reveal information like that so you could know that the episode was a slight change from all of the preivious ones.

I think it's a necessary evil if you wanted to catch up. Otherwise, imagine how confused people would really be if they didn't know it was a flash-forward and had no clue what was going on in Lost.

Why not? To anyone with an interest in watching for the first time tomorrow, seeing the previous season's finale the night before is a pretty logical jump in point for those who don't feel like watching every previous season on dvd first. Not everyone wants to invest that much into it to run out and do some marathon viewing of the first 60 some-odd episodes first. The whole reason they are even showing the finale tonight is as a refresher and to catch anyone new up as to what happened right before what they see tomorrow, theoretically.

How would anyone who hasn't seen it know that the season 3 finale might contain something specific which may hinder their enjoyment of the early stages of season 4? It's not like this is the first time a previous season's finale (or even the whole season) was shown right before the new one. HBO does it with every one of their shows, for example.
