LOL! I can't STAND Juliet's stupid face. Everytime I see it I groan. I hope she gets killed soon or something. I actually liked her at first, but that damn smirk is now so aggravating!

Hopefully that's her in the coffin. Her name starts with a J like the Obit. Can't remember if they said if it was a guy or not in the coffin though.

Here's what I've got for the O8:

We already know 1) Jack, 2) Kate, 3) Hurley, 4) Sayid. My guess is that one of the 2 they say died after the crash will be Charlie. Penny saw him on the monitor, so they have to say he survived the crash. Claire has to be either the other 1 they will say died or 1 of the O6. I'm guessing she's still on the island, because why else would Kate have Aaron. That would explain the story of there being 8 that survived the crash and not just the 6 that made it back home.

Unfortunately, I believe it is a male. When Jack spoke to Kate about it she did indicate "him".

I do like the theory about Miles being Ben's guy on the boat. Talking about money was so inappropriate at that time, that I am sure that they were speaking in codes. Ben was basically saying whatever he had planned couldn't be completed in 2 days, he would need a week.

Great point fist and just to add-on that's probably why Miles mentioned the 3.2 million. That exact number means something in code.

This is a great point. I didn't really see anything behind the Miles theory until this post, and now it seems to be the most sensible answer.

I don't think that obituary is supposed to really tell anything other than the date. I doubt they would create an entire article that would never be visible on the show unless freeze framed. It just seems like overkill, but maybe its just me.

The more I listen to you guys the more i believe these people and Ben are all in this thing together. could 3.2 mean 3 guys and 2 girls, we know Jack, Hurley,and Sayid made it, and Kate. Could that mean they need another girl. I don't know I'm just speculating. MY gut now tells me Ben will try to get Locke off the island. Maybe Ben is albe to gain control of Locke somehow and manages to let Jack and others off, nut they have to take Locke with them. This still doens't answer the Aaron question, but maybe something happens to Claire like mentioned above.

I think that is a good theory and I hadn't even thought of that, but if you look at Miles's flashforward....we do know that he is driven by money. Remember how he stole that money from the dead kid? I think the writers chose that flashback scene for Miles to show that he 1)has supernatural powers of some kind and 2)to show that he is really greedy and has no problem taking money.

If Miles was the man on the boat....why would he blow Ben's cover by saying to Ben in front of Kate,"I'm not like these other people, I know what you are capable of." Wouldn't it be to Ben's advantage to not have these people know his "true powers?" But the whole $3.2 million thing just seems wierd. Why would he ask for that specific amount? Unless it is some sort of code and that means there are 32 people coming or something....

I honestly think they used that flashforward to show the greed. It was a good setup to let you think Miles is motivated by money. The Losties already know Ben's capable of crazy stuff. You would think that Kate would have made a bigger issue of the conversation between Miles & Ben. Of course she's probably just going to run back to the beach and tell Jack. And Jack will sit there with that stupid expression on his face while Juliet smirks. But either way, even if Locke does get Miles to talk it will be his fabricated story, he'll never reveal he's working with Ben. Ehh is right. Kate's character is useless.

A friend just reminded me of Claire's first flashback episode. A psychic tells her that she must raise her child or very bad things will happen. The guy keeps harassing her to keep the child and eventually buys her the ticket for the doomed 815 flight. Charlie suggests the psychic knew what would happen and basically forced Claire to keep the child. So now that Claire and Aaron are separated, prepare for the worst.

I don't think anything happened to Claire. She's probably still on the island. I think Kate stole the baby and told their rescuers that it was her baby. That way the 6 wouldn't have to deal with the ?'s about Claire.

That's why Jack didn't want to see the baby. He knows Kate stole it, and doesn't want any part of it. Maybe the thing that makes him flip out wanting to go back to the island is finding out Claire is his step sister. He can't bring himself to keep his step sister away from her daughter.

Kate is only looking out for #1 and wants no part of going back to the island. Sayid, Hurley, and Jack have all had thoughts about going back to the island. Kate hasn't. That seem kind of weird to anyone else?

Just another crazy theory I'm throwing out there.
