I don't think there's a such thing as good and bad in this show. Everyone is both.

Hiow is Hurley a bad guy? Or Charlie? Or Claire? Or Jack? Or Desmond? Or Rose/Bernard? Etc..

There are the good guys (LOSTies) and the bad guys (Others or boat people). Either Ben and his crew are the hostile group, or the boat people are the hostile group. I don't see how everyone can be considered the "bad" group.

OK, maybe not all characters, but of the major ones, I can't think of a single truly good one, except Hurley.

Charlie? Drug addict. Kidnapped Jin to make Locke look stupid. Lied a few times to Claire.

Jack? Incredibly flawed, reluctant to lead, betrayed his father.

Desmond? Cowardly and selfish. Left Penny because he was too concerned with his own shame.

How can you not see that there is a gray area between good and bad? It's a very obvious theme in Lost. Ben may be good because he is protecting something very important (the island) but does some bad things to do it. I would imagine the freighters are doing some good, but likely at the expense of some bad.

Have you noticed how the "LOSTies" are now being portrayed as the new "others?" They said something tonight about why the freighters think they're hostile... I can't remember exactly how it went... but it's a similar situation to when the "LOSTies: arrived.

Jacks dad will be the sixth. I got the feeling............ He technically was on the plane, even though he was dead, right?

Its someone we never thought we would see again, and that flash forward of drunken jack may have been more fortelling then orginally thought.

Maybe that is why he told Locke "you better sit down" when he said he was going to tell him who his man on the boat was. I think the preview also mentioned an old face returns or something along those lines. My first assumption was Michael, but that might be too easy. Itching to find out though.

not sure how I feel about this episode. Aside from the new substation information and the fact that Juliet had an affair, nothing new was gained. Ben continues to manipulate people, Locke continues to fall for the manipulations and we we ddin't gain any new info. I feel the man on the boat will be Michael. While I do think Jack's dad maybe alive I don' think he'll be an Oceanic 6. I also feel like Sun will be the 6th to get off, or the big twist will be Michael will be considered the 6th. After last night I fell Juliet may die, I don't know why just a feeling. I've gotten used to seeing a lot of easter egg type info revealed but I just didn't see the opportunity for it last night. Definately not one of the best episodes. I think we can tell by the amount of talk about it on here.

I thought last night was a pretty lame episode. Much ado about nothing. We already knew Ben had a crush on Juliet. Does it really matter now to show that the Smirk is also a homewrecker? Its just a lead in to a confrontation between Jack & Ben. As far as Ben goes, the ending was cheesy with him strolling past Sawyer & Hurley. Fool me once, shame on me, fol me twice, I kill you would be what I'm thinking. The old Sawyer woukld have put a cap in him. Locke is a moron. He's confused and doesn't have direction but he has no problem turning to Ben for answers despite the fact that Ben has tricked him over and over again. Basically this was just a season 3 episode.

We knew with 90% certainty that this was a Hanso funded boat so no knew suprise there.

But the question I have is didn't Hanso fund the Dharma project? If so how don't they know where this island is? I mean the exact coordinates.

I read the book Bad Twin a few years back and it had some info on the Widmore's & Desmond in it. I thought Widmore owned or had a stake in Hanso.

In chapter six of Gary Troup's book Bad Twin, the Hanso Foundation is described as being located on the 42nd floor of the Widmore Building in New York City. According to the book, a plaque on the wall reads:

"The Hanso Foundation stands at the vanguard of social and scientific research for the advancement of the human race. For forty years, the foundation has offered grants to worthy experiments designed to further the evolution of the human race and provide technological solutions to the most pressing problems of our time. The Hanso Foundation: a commitment to encouraging excellence in science and technology and furthering the cause of human development."
Also in chapter six, it is mentioned that googling Widmore Corporation pulls up "references to joint ventures with something called the Hanso Foundation..." In the last chapter, the Widmore Corporation board has Mittelwerk listed as a member from the Hanso Group.

I dunno about this show right, I think the flash-forwards are kinda ruining it for me.

For now, I literally don't care if I see Jack, Kate, Sayid, etc because I know they're getting off the Island. The show has become a tad predictable, at least the last three episodes.

I haven't really like most of the Lostie characters for a while now. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not attached to any of the Losties and really don't care about their well being. I'm more interested in the secrets of the island. I want to know more about the Black Rock, Dharma and what they were really trying to accomplish, what Whidmore wants if he actually could take possession of the island, who the original others are, etc.,etc. If Jack, Kate, and the Smirk all perished, that would be a fine episode.

I have hated Locke for a long time. I doubt it will happen soon if at all, but hopefully he is done away with.

Locke is my personal favorite on the show. I think he's the most interesting character of anyone. Someone who has truly gone from nothing in life to finding his ultimate meaning in life. He seems to be seeking some sort of redemption for a life that was lived without purpose. I hope he is around thru the end of the series honestly.
