waiting for a bigger one too. 16gb is no where near enough. I need 30gig min.

i'm leaning towards the Touch though, it's just so damn pretty. I played around with it at Sam's the other day. I have a lot of music but I don't think i'm going to put it all on there. If a bigger one comes out, i'll sell the 16gb and pick up the bigger one. I've had the 30gb ipod before and don't think I had more than a 1000 songs loaded on it.

Trust me, once you start using a lot of video on this thing (the screen is gorgeous!) then 30 GB won't be big enough either.

You can say that again. I have 55 GB on my 80 GB with 20 GB of that being TV shows and Movies. I'll have to upgrade in a few years.

I own the iPhone 8 gig and I couldn't see myself with another phone at this time. I can get a SOLID 2 and a half days of battery from this phone doing talking texting wifi EDGE and using Ipod feature. have had it for almost a month dont regret the purchase at all.

the touch/iphone is the first portable that has a screen I'd actually watch video on...others seemed too small to me

Yeah, I don't get how people watch video on the Nano at all... the classic is ok, but the new Nano? Geez that thing is tiny!

have an opportunity to buy a 16gb touch from a guy on craigslist (no shipping charges) for $325. I asked about scratches and he said it had a couple fine scratches on it and it was barely noticeable. He said he has used it only once and it went into his drawer at work. I really feel like this is a great deal but I wanted to buy one from Sam's and have somewhere to take it back to if it craps out. What do you guys think?

I've had my Griffin Reflect case for a little over a day now and I absolutely love it.

I would say the main negatives are that the sleep button feels a little TOO recessed, the thing feels like an iPhone now (could be a positive for some) and it's so damn gorgeous that I don't want to mess up the case now!

All in all.... fantastic case. The iClear looks fantastic too. I may pick that one up somewhere down the line as well.

guess who bought an iPod Touch today? I ended up getting it new. I wasn't comfortable with the scratches the guy from Craigslist had on his, then he didn't even have the box and it's contents that came with it.

Any classic owners? If so what's your impressions of it? My 5 year old 40GB Creative Nomad just died on me the other day and I'm not sure what I'd like to buy. I would love to get a touch but 16GB is no where near enough space for me.

Yeah, the Touch is the only one backordered. How great is that?

It's the only case I really want and I can't get it. I even placed my order within an hour that they opened up sales.

Frustrating.

I'm not a big fan of it because it doesnt suit my needs. If you are looking for an ipod to just play music (what most people want) you will be fine. If you are looking for more than that I think there are better players out there. For example, if you want to use the TV out function, you will HAVE to purchase a apple brand 40 dollar dock and 30 dollar component cables. Also the classic doesnt work with alot of accesories and works poorly with the 360.

I'm going to try out the 80 GB Zune that comes out Tuesday and if thats better than I'm returning my Classic (thank god for Costco's return policy.)

i'm loving my new iPod Touch. It's a nifty lil gadget! storage won't be an issue for me. I spent last nite transfering numerous albums and still only ended up with a little over 200 songs.
