Re: Official iPod Discussion Thread
I have over 2,000 songs on my ipod right now and for whatever reason a couple hundred were put into the library automatically without me doing anything and they were all synced. If you drag the song into Itunes when you have your ipod connected they will sync automatically so all you have to worry about is putting the songs on there and not disconnecting before they're all synced.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Official iPod Discussion Thread
I just ordered a 160 gig iPod Classic. I did so because I was so stupid to not get a warranty on my 30 gig, and it will cost $150 to fix the burn in that occured on it (my fault totally), I used to leave it on my car connector and my car has no tint, and I live in New Orleans. And I figured, why not increase my space by 5x and my battery life 3x. Plus, I don't want to use my iPhone as an iPod anymore. I want to use it as a phone only. I'm also a fan of ripping my music to my PC in uncompressed WAV (1411 Kbps) when possible over Mp3, hence my need for the space. Besides, it's a nice Xmas/year end present to myself. I've worked hard in 2007.Comment

Re: Official iPod Discussion Thread
Hey guys, I'm looking out for you guys...iPod Classic guys...if you're looking at getting one right now i'd suggest getting it online from bestbuy.com...it's $332.49 and the service plan is the same price as the Apple Care Plan and it's 3 years instead of 2. and im not too sure but our Service Plan let's you bring the product to us and ship to Apple for free. Not too sure if apple has free shipping of product with their plan. The other iPods (ALL) are also on sale, and they feature a Replacement plan (not the Touch) which says if you have a problem that is found to have it not working you get a new one on the spot (2 years). Peace.
This sale is only online. I THINK we can price match this in-store...not too sure though.Last edited by Kalon; 12-28-2007, 08:54 PM.Comment

Re: Official iPod Discussion Thread
I don't think mentioning jailbreaking it is really a no no as it has been brought up previously. But yeah mine is jailbroken and I do have the iPhone Google map application. It isn't anything involving GPS yet but there have been some rumblings. For the time being you just have to rely on the turn by turn directions the app gives you which I think would be plenty good enough for me. If you do a Google search for "'iPod touch' gps add-on" you will get some decent results

Yeah, the maps thing isn't GPS, but I've jailbroken my Touch and gotten mail, chat, and maps apps....It's completely legal, as far as I know.I don't think mentioning jailbreaking it is really a no no as it has been brought up previously. We're rumored to get a 3G GPS iPhone in 2008, but that's just rumors.Last edited by mgoblue; 12-29-2007, 02:12 AM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
