I think there's too much separation among all the different storylines. None of them feel connected at all and the characters involved in the fringe plot-lines aren't very interesting.

I definitely agree with that. This season started off slower than we had been used to, which led people to be let down somewhat. But, it's really picked up over the last month or so, mostly because the storylines are starting to intertwine and we're finally starting to get the big picture of what's going on. That's where the show shines, IMO.

For me, the last 4-5 episodes have were good............another issue is that it didn't seem like our Heroes were working together this season like the first season's second half.

I think the main and obvious problem is/was the writer's strike. I understand this "segment" of season 2 was supposed to stand on it's own, but I've gotta believe they would have spread it out over 3-4 more episodes. Everything just feels rushed this time around as they work around this strike.

Good point. Do we have 1 episode left?

              It sounds like it:
Yet while Heroes has finally found some dramatic traction, this second volume is pretty much a wash. The Dec. 3 episode has been retooled to function as a potential season finale — a move inspired by the writers' strike and a desire to give the show ''a clean slate'' when it goes back into production for Volume 3. At that point, Kring wants to craft a rebooted Heroes that can attract new fans and win back those who've tuned out: ''The message is that we've heard the complaints — and we're doing something about it.''

I really liked it...Since spoilers are allowed I'll list a few things/ask questions

I'm glad Niki's gone, but did she use her husband's power to get into the house? Couldn't she not have died but escaped and we find out next year?

I'm glad Elle didn't die. I think she's turning more good, and I think it is pretty cool to see her realize how she can interact and be with other people, not just seeking her father's approval. I think her growth will be interesting.

Hiro vs. Adam was a cool ending, though someone could dig up Adam if they find him (or hear him?)

Angela Petrelli is at the head of this stuff somehow. We still don't know her power(s) and I really wonder.

Sylar is evil as ever, can he be truly stopped?

I really enjoyed the last episode and can't wait for the strike to end and episode 3 to begin.

Hiro vs. Adam was a cool ending, though someone could dig up Adam if they find him (or hear him?) (Possibly. I think Adam fits the role of a "tragic hero" even more than Sylar.)

I won't lie, she's damn attractive, and that probably plays into it. She's cute, but when she has the little reactions to people (Mohinder thanking her for saving them from Sylar), you just see something in the eyes, I dunno. It's more than just her being hot.

Great great point! Adam wants to help the world in his own twisted way. Sylar just is more evil.

True, will be cool when she fully unleashes them. Also, i bet it's someone other than Elle's dad involved. Not sure who right now.

Loved the finale. The "ending" for Hiro and Adam was perfect. Hiro didn't kill Adam keeping himself an honorable hero, but at the same time he neutralized him by using Adam's immortality against himself. I doubt that's the end of Adam though.

I love that Syler is back and I've come to realize him being gone is what has been wrong with this season. He brings an intensity that was missing all season. I'm very excited for Season 3 with him back at full strength.

Does anyone really think Nathan will stay dead?

                        And finally...NIKI'S DEAD!!!

Okay, I'm calling it right now. HRG shot Nathan.

Peter just reinforced the idea of him being the strongest of them all. Matt couldn't control him like he did Angela/Molly/the Chief and if Peter can get the hang of Hiro's power, who knows.

Sylar..... is back. Awesome. Adam's your tragic hero turned villain, Sylar's just the villain. And that's what we need.

I have a thought though. Couldn't Peter just try to draw his blood and give it to Nathan? If not, someone should really set-up a Claire hotline for the Heroes.

Now all I want after Christmas is for this strike to end so that we can get Heroes Season 2, Volume 3, Episode 12 "Villains."

The Hiro/Adam end was really something. Talk about a dark, dark new layer to Hiro. We saw future Hiro was kind of darker and jaded, I think last night layed the groundwork for that. Just thinking about what he did makes my skin crawl - very dark. Plus, leaves it open for a return of a really pissed off Adam.

I thought the same thing - HRG shot Nathan. I also think Peter could just give him some of his blood to save him as well, especially since he knows its possible. What I don't quite understand is the deal HRG made with Bob and how they trust each other. Bob did save Noah's life so obviously he kept him around for a reason.

Peter is just a cool and powerful character. My one problem with his misguided loyalty to Adam was why he didn't read his mind when he had doubts about him? Couldn't he have discovered Adam's true intentions?

Sylar will be cool to have back and in full force. I was kind of hoping Maya would stay dead but she looked good last night. I like Elle as well and her character. She's turning into a rebellious daughter, resenting what her father did to her. I also wonder if anyone really died last night. Major characters never seem to die on shows.

HRG shooting Peter is probable, but may lack the big Heroes surprise that they shoot for.

My guess is that the shooter was none other than Arthur Petrelli.
