Most intense moment in gaming history. But I can also remember when tomb raider came out. My dad was playing and he went to jump across a gap and he didnt make it and ended up getting attacked by wolves. This was the first night i got my playstation. Needless to say i didnt play it alone for a long time lol.

Friday The 13th on NES - the first time I had to go into a cabin and save the kids from Jason. Just looking around those rooms and then BAM!!! Jason comes out and starts attacking. That got me pretty good.Comment

To continue on the Resident Evil theme, I'm sure many hear remember when you went to a attic and that Giant snake came out and gobbled you up. That was freaky. Also, maybe to a lesser extent, the Shark Area where you had to swim out before you got eaten was a heart speeder-upper. And yeah, Ravenholm in HL_2 was scary and that dont-give-a-crap-about-life-anymore priest spoutting Bible like verses gave me the willies.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
I totally know exactly what you're talking about, you never had any weapons. Me and my friends used to rent that game on Halloween and play after we had been trick-or-treating (we were probably 11). It was so intense, turning the lights off in our house and it being Halloween. Then the killer jumps out and you hear the sound of sheers. We always were so freaked out.I just remembered this game I rented for PS1 a long time ago called Clock Tower. It was like being in a slasher film, and you play the helpless lady in it. It was a scary game, because I sucked at it, and I don't think you could fight back, so whenever you hear the theme music, it meant the killer was coming, and you had to try to hide or something. I remember hiding in a locker on that game, and it didn't work because he just opened the door and stabbed me.
Man I remember in that game, when the music hits, it gets intense. At the time it was like being in an authentic movie.Comment

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
same for me. i was playing at my friends house at night in his dark living room in scary movie conditions and those dogs jump out. both of us yelled like little girls. No contest for me: the dogs jumping out of the windows in the third room in the first Resident Evil. Most of that game is just creepy, but those damn dogs at the beginning were scary, it didn't help that it was my first PS game ever, I go from cartoony SNES games to that and 10 minutes into my first game I see those dogs!Fight On for ol' SCOur men Fight On to victory.

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
Seconded. That really scared the hell out of me.
Also Resident Evil Nemesis got me a couple of times.
Silent Hill too, I didn't make it far in that game at all. The beginning was enough for me to know I wouldn't be able to take it.PS: You guys are great.

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
^^^ funny thing about that is I was 14 when I got the game for PSx... and the game didn't bother me until I loaned the game to a friend of mine and he gave it right back the next day and explained to me all the stuff that was going on and why he refused to play it anymore... and since that day I've been afraid to play almost all of the silent hills by myself (though I grew balls and played Silent Hill 2 in my basement)http://www.myspace.com/phillthegenesis

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
This isn't a new game but the Winter House behind the demon door in Fable 2 scared the **** out of me.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
I just played Condemned for the first time over the winter and holy **** that game is ****ing freaky.
Deap Space had one or two moments that freaked me out, when you'd hear the things crawling in the vents and what not, or see shadows around the corner...I'd always be a little scared to turn the corner, despite knowing I'd cut any, and everything, up easily.Comment
