Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
OMG, I HATED THAT PART!!!!!!!!!Besides the Obvious Doom and Resident Evil Games...
I gotta say the scariest game I have played lately is Dead Space, amazing game.
But the Scariest moment for me is when i was playing Half life 2 for the first time on my PC. 90% of that game is not scary but when you hit Ravenholm for the first time, it really is scary as hell. I remember playing through the game again on my Xbox and I dreaded that part of the game just because it was so damn scary.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
Recently, Dead Space definetly. I was so scared to play that game at night, and one time I returned back to the tram station and one of the enemies just crawled on the window randomly and scared the **** outta me.
BUT, I cant believe there has only been ONE mention of Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube.
That game is one of, if not the scariest games of all time. I remember one part where you have to be searching a bathroom and you look in the bathtub and BAM
I dont wanna spoil it for anyone else though
But it scared the crap outta meCharger Fan Born and Raised!

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
I wish I could play Eternal Darkness, I've heard great things but didn't own a NGC or a Wii now.
My top moments are in no order:
Fatal Frame on PS2 - The whole damn game. Try standing still while a voice is calling out, your controller is vibrating and you are looking through a camera lens and BAM! you see a fully detailed human face in ghost form. Or try walking through a door into a dark room and seeing an apparition floating upstairs. I mean geez.
Metal Gear Solid 2 - PS2 - Towards the end of the game when the game starts to seem like it's glitching and the levels start become named "Colon:Ascension: and weird stuff like that and the Colonel that you have on the communicator starts saying some freaky stuff and talking to YOU personally it felt like. I almost turned the damn game off right there. Mind you, I had never played MGS 1 on PSX, so the whole idea of a game messing with your head was new to me. This was so memorable. He was telling me to turn off the game and his voice kept distorting and crap. My first real "OMG is this happening?" moment in a video game.
Condemned on X360 -The atmosphere, the shadows, the crazy bums grunting and rushing you from your blind side. I felt every muscle in my body tense up when I played this in the dark, in my cold basement, on a 52" HDTV with Surround. I have two friends who refuse to even watch the game being played because they tried to play it and got freaked out and turned it off. A crowd pleaser for sure, LOL.
Going a little old school, the Friday the 13th game on NES scared the piss out of me back in the day. You had such a sense of dread that Jason was coming for you and you could not escape!!
I'm sure there are many more, but these come to mind immediately at 5 am.Favorite Sports Teams

Figured with all the new games recently and new posters on the site, this deserves a nice bump.
BTW the scene with all the man mannequins in Condemed. Scared the living hell out of me.
Also shouldnt this be in Non Sports Gaming thread?Last edited by Candyman5; 02-27-2011, 06:04 PM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?
Resident Evil 2: First floor of the police station and as I was walking down a hallway, some zombies bust through a window that was boarded up. I was 11 or 12 at the time and it scared the **** out of me and my brother watching. Not too many video games have made me jumped, and that moment has always stuck with me.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Hands down the original Castle Wolfenstein for the Commodore 64. I had alerted the guards and thought I had got in the clear when a SS Nazi guy came in the room, spotted me and yelled something in German. It was late at night and really loud. Not really that scary, but it was the only time I remember jumping out of a chair. It startled me for sure.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Like many others RE was a great one.
But Fatal Frame was no doubt the scariest creepiest games out there.
You don't see anything until you screens starts to glow and you pull up you camera view to see some horrific ghoul 2 steps in front of you.100% sim all the wayComment
