No Family Guy has not. However, South Park has passed both. And I won't hear any thing different.

Simpsons is still way better all time.

A few years ago Family Guy was better at the time.

Now I think they are about even, they both occasionally make me laugh.

On a personal level I'd agree, but in terms of the Simpsons literally appealing to ANY audience, young or old... The Simpsons wins hands down.

Same here. Just a different taste of humor, just never been a fan of the Simpsons. Always have liked FG, I think the quality of the episodes has dipped a bit but of course I like it over the Simpsons.

I am right there with you. Neither of em could top an episode like "Scott Tenormann Must Die".

That's why Family Guy is **** now. Just random skits that are pointless and dumb as ****, that aren't funny at all.

Re: Has Family Guy surpassed the Simpsons?

I'm gonna be honest, I consider myself a much bigger fan of Family Guy, but I have to give the edge to The Simpsons. I watch Family Guy if I wanna get a cheap laugh. There are definitely references that make me chuckle in every episode, but The Simpsons just seems to be more structured and oddly more enjoyable. I may not laugh as loud, but it just seems to be more enjoyable at times cause the story doesn't jump all over.

I'm not a big FG fan anymore, for the most part they use the same 12-15 jokes and recycle them over a a few shows.

I used to love it when it first aired, but it's been so-so since it came back recently.
