            That's how I make decisions on what movies to watch and not watch.

            Honestly, chances are I'll end up watching this movie. I don't know when but I'm sure it'll happen.

            But I know what kind of movies I like and Transformers is not the type of movie I like. That's why I have no interest in it. And seriously, Michael Bay is all about special effects and no story. That doesn't interest me. Everyone I know that has watched Transformers says the same thing. "The effects were amazing!" Eh, not interested.

                If you've ever seen any of my posts you'll notice that I'm never in an action movie thread. I don't like action movies. I find them boring.

                I'm mostly in the ones that either get people angry (like the Church and The Golden Compass), the ones based on great literature (like Chronicles of Narnia), or the ones that concentrate on an individual psychologically overcoming the odds (this very thread right here).

                I wouldn't be interested in "I am Legend" if it were "30 Days of Night."

                                    I honestly suggest you check it out. Transformers is definitely one of my top-5 favorite movies of all time.

                                    The acting is awesome in the movie, not counting Anthony Anderson. It's just an overall awesome movie; including the storyline. I know you don't like action movies, but I really think you should check it out.

                                        Agreed. I saw Transformers 3 times the first week alone. It's easily one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time, and it hardly has anything to do with the out-of-focus action scenes that Bay put together.

                                                I hate going to the theatre on opening night. It get's way too crowded for my taste.

                                                I prefer to go mid-week sometime, after the opening weekend. So, I'll probably end up seeing it after I take one of my finals next week.
