I don't know man...I know I'd be all "F U God" if one of those Aliens came bursting from my chest...

I fully expect that there is life out there somewhere, we just aren't advanced enough to find it yet. Or they're not advanced enough to be broadcasting to us.

The distances involved are so unimaginable that we'll never hear from them so we might as well be alone...that is until Zefram Cochrane comes along in 2063.

I would just call that an Exorcism of the 3rd kind.

Or the thousands of employees from all these groups that certainly would have been exposed to something like this if true.

It would be pretty interesting if man already went to the moon billions of years ago from earth and mankind has been whiped out by natural disasters or extinction events time and time again throughout earths history.
Graphik, I've heard this theory before. It's definitely an interesting one.

Some scientists have pointed to 'evidence' of this. A couple of examples:

            1. The road that leads to nowhere. Apparently there's a paved road in Florida that was built hundreds of years ago that now leads into the ocean. Some people have speculated that it led to Atlantis. But it's believed that the road was indeed built a long, long time ago. Well before we had the technology to pave roads.
            2. A Buffalo skull was found in Mexico with a bullet hole in it's head. Not that unusual. But according to carbon dating, it was discovered the animal was hundreds of years old. Well before the first gun was ever invented.
            3. The pyramids. Man still hasn't figured out how they were built. Considering that if we were to move one block we would have to cut it in 3 pieces and then transport it with heavy duty trucks because of the weight, it would seem impossible for a primitive society to build them with primitive tools.

And that how do they know the hole in the Buffalo head was from a bullet? that theory is laughable. If it were true, there would be so much evidence it would be over whelming. Virtually impossible.

The growth of technology in the last 40 years is really almost unfathomable.

It has to make you wonder if we found some help from something, and did a little reverse engineering....

Yes, almost like the transformers movie

I also saw a show one time on the history channel or discovery and this guy had a rock and fossilized inside the rock was what appeared to be a piece of man crafted metal that looked like some type of circuit.

Now I don't know either way, but I would suspect that we don't give these ancient civilizations enough credit. Look what has happened in the last 100 years, once a civilation gets rolling its learning curve decreases exponentionally. We went from not being able to fly to landing on the moon(if we really did) in 70 years. Look at computers. We are close to being able to clone a human and didn't even have antibotics a short time ago. That being said though, I would think that if advanced civilations existed on earth that had electronic capabilities, we would have found more definitive remains.

The pyramids bring up interesting topics. We've been trying to firgure out how they did it for centuries now with countless theories and ideas. Could it be that the egyptians discovered some technology or writtings from an ancient civilization? If some skeptics believe aliens helped them out with the ideas, why not an already earth born ancient civilization. Maybe the egyptians were that ancient civilization? For one thing, they reside in the desert and who knows whats buried beneath all that sand and rock. One thing is for sure, the egyptians knew something that the rest of mankind hasn't been able to piece together yet.

Please..there are probably thousands and thousands of other planets across the galaxy having the same debate.

                                Pretty cool stuff.
I guess I'm a moron then. This is about scientific evidence, not suggestible stories you've seen on the Discovery channel or the X Files.

But really, do we want this anyway? I mean we have trouble enough dealing with our own illegal aliens. How the hell are we going to handle something extraterrestrial??
