The Hebrews weren't even in Egypt at the time, the time they entered was with the Hyksos invasion after the end of the Old Kingdom (which is the period of Egyptian history which built the big famous pyramids). We have found the quarries they used, we have found the overseers tombs, we have found the workers themselves, and just recently we have found what seems to suggest ramps inside the great pyramid at Giza. The remarkable thing about the pyramids is not that they were built, but really how precise they were, that I cannot explain how. If you look at the pyramids built before the ones at Giza, you can see failure after failure and trial after trial, it isn't like Giza was their first try. If you want to discuss the details of the pyramids with me, feel free I am pretty well versed in this. If you want something to look at and really get your mind going, read some of the stuff put out by Robert Schoch about the age of the sphinx, that to me has a lot more questions than the pyramids (although I still think it was built by Khafre).

As stated earlier by I think Fistofrage, we don't give ancient people enough credit. I think sometimes people assume ancient people weren't smart because they weren't launching sattelites and flying planes. Look at the technology being put out in the Mediterranean World up until the fall of Rome. Some things which have emerged are: the Antikythera Device (you want something to marvel at, look at that thing), the steam engine, batteries, use of hydraulics, Rome at times was on the verge of an industrial revolution, but the empire was so badly run and overextended they couldn't quite get there. Watch a show like Ancient Discoveries on the History Channel and you find some pretty wild stuff, specifically the works of Heron of Alexandria. They knew the size of the Earth and its shape well before Copernicus or his ilk emerged thousands of years later. In my opinion, one of the greatest shames in history was the distruction of libraries in the western world as the Roman Empire fell, as well as the Byzantine Emperor Justinian destroying anything he deemed "unchristian". There is a lot more to the ancient world than we know now, and they did some pretty impressive stuff.

    Now:
Aliens, yes I believe in them, I even believe they know about us. I don't know if they have a moon base or whatever, but I could see why a government would lie about it. Now as has been suggested earlier, a lot of people would have to be lying about this, so maybe the whole moon theory isn't all that true. I have always wondered what would happen if aliens ever did come here, and made official contact and all of that (hopefully peaceful). How would the powers that be respond, how would our lives be changed? One of my 7th grade teachers would say something to the effect that "Maybe aliens are here, maybe they aren't, but sometimes I wonder if they saw us and just figured we weren't worth their time or they didn't want to get involved with us because they saw our history". That made sense to me, if it is an ultra-peaceful society, look at human history, we get in some big war all the time, I don't know if I would want to mess with that, let them sort it all out before giving them a lot of technology or whatever.
Post of the thread, I read up and searched up on many things you mentioned. Very interesting stuff indeed.

If you don't mind, could you please elaborate more on the early parts where you mention about the Ancient people, very fascinating stuff.

These guys make it sound like the pictures they have are show ruins on the moon. Instead all you see is pictures of things that could be something but look like nothing. Disappointing.

The pictues on this guys site are pretty unremarkable. The reason why the news agencies haven't picked up on it is because the pictures aren't conclusive.

I could see if the pictures showed buildings or something. And the "glass" structure is just a bright spot on the moon.

For example, they have stuff like this. That's not proof a an alian or ancient structure.

What would you like me to focus on, the inventions, the cultures themselves, the men who built these structures? I could type on for pages so I'd like to have some direction.

                  Re: NASA Cover-up

I work in aerospace engineering so I'm constantly surrounded by our endeavors into space. For anyone who hasn't been keeping up, here's the latest satellite image of ICE on Mars:

                  </IMG>

As the old saying goes, "Where there's water there's life". The problem with Mars is that the water (H2O) we've found there is rarely in liquid form.

Ofcourse there's no evidence of intelligent life on Mars (that I know of anyway), but given the climate of the planet, there is reason to believe that at the very least there are some forms of micro-organisms roaming the planet.

Especially when you take into account that archaeologists recently found 1,200 new species of insects while breaking-up blocks of ice in Antartica.

If we're still finding new creatures on our own planet, imagine what we -might- find if we could dig into the ICE on Mars.

I think Mars is just for the most part exactly what NASA has said. I believe NASA might be covering some things up, but this I don't think so.Mars probably has some sort of bacteria on it, but I don't believe there is some massive alien race there right now, maybe millions of years ago but not now.

First you would have to define what an 'alien race' is.

Does a living organism have to walk upright and traverse the galaxy in space-crafts to be classifeid as an 'alien race'?

If there are numerous organisms thriving in the polar regions of Mars (like there are on Earth), one could make the argument that they are indeed a massive alien race.

Anyone read about the "Apollo 20" secret mission to the moon?

Some guy claims they found a 4 kilometer long spaceship

He says the ships was discovered on a flyby of apollo 15, and apollo 20 was sent up secretly to investigate this object.

I have no solid proof this is real... just saw a link to it...

Well, since everyone is uploading pictures for proof, I'll have to admit I found one. Proof of water was found on uranus.

I think we can all agree this is pretty undisputable. Thank you.

bogus. So many bogus stuff on the internet it's silly. The names on the vid don't match any real astronauts. Appolo 20 launch was cancelled.

plus, how the hell do you hide the launch of a 365 foot tall, 7.6 million pound thrust booster?

                              The story is bogus.
