Bumping for more impressions. I'm thinking about selling my 30 gig creative to my sister for 100-150 and copping a Zune 2. But, I'm still on the fence.

The accessories are WAY too damn expensive. Even protective cases for it are a grip.

Bubba, how did you do it?

Well first i just tried to edit all the artists and put them into one group. For example, every Jay-z song i had that the zune put in as a seperate artist because someone was featured i just edited the artist info to Jay-z so it would all be in one place.

Then that didnt work so i went into settings and in music there is an option that says artist. I had it on song and album and i switched it to album only and that did the trick. at least for me. So im not sure if u have to do both (edit and switch the options) or just switch the options.

Accessories are a ripoff for this thing if you ask me, I can't wait for 3rd party stuff to show up.

Yep definitely read it awhile ago. Made me want to get one more, lol.

By the way, I was looking at protective cases for the 80 GB, and the only one I could find was a leather joint for 50 bucks. I don't need leather and definitely don't want to drop 50 on a case. Any suggestions for a good, durable case that will fit the new Zunes?

Streets, right now there aren't any cases available except for the official MS Zune case for $40 which is leather. I didn't buy it either, I want a clear protective case that encloses the Zune..............in case its dropped, nothing happens.

Plus I also recommend using a program called MP3tag, it helps with any tagging issues.

As far as tagging goes, all of my song/album information was on-point with my Creative. Is there any reason to suspect something would be off with the Zune?

Also, I live near 47th and Halstead, and yeah, Zune's are sold out as far as the eye can see. Where are you at?

No, the leather case is good for protection and is the only case out right now. It's $39.99, only drawback is that it doesn't have a opening for the USB input which is crazy.

I recommend that if you do get a Zune, to set the Zune folder right to the folder where you have all your Creative songs ripped. Any tagging that you have from Creative, should show up on the Zune. There might be some that are screwed up which will need fixing.

I got a silicone skin case and a screen protector sheet from Meritline.com for like 15 bucks. I dont know if it's thick enough to prevent damage though.

I have a $25 Best Buy Gift Card with a $250 dollar purchase coupon I got from the Bulls-Pistons game, but I'd have to do that one in stores, and they're all sold out around me.

Circuit City has a deal where you can get 5% off and you can get an AC Adapter (thats normally 25 dollars) for an extra 15 bucks. According to the web, there is one out there like 12 miles from my house (south, so probably near you).

Wal-Mart has a dirt cheap protection plan. It's like 18 bucks, where most places are 40-60 dollars.

And Gamestop has the best deal (10% off, plus I could probably get some good store credit for Assassins Creed to put on it). The deal expires on 12/7 and the coupon doesn't work online. And again, the problem is no EB/Gamestop has the Zune 2 according to their websites. I also don't know how much their protection plan would be.

I bought mine at Walmart since they were the only ones that had them in stock, and I had bought the last one. I might go back and get the protection plan for the $18.
