    LOL!

1-Yes, its free. Just google it.

2-Yes, it will work with Zune 1.

3-No, you can tag music while the Zune is connected to the PC. What I do, is go and tag my music that needs tagging with mp3tag. Once the music has been tagged, I just re-sync the Zune through the software and it fixes those songs. Before, I used to delete the old songs off of the Zune software and Zune first, but stopped doing that............I allow mp3tag to do its job first and then sync. It works very well + mp3tag allows you to add album art if you need to.

For album art, my recommendation is going to Amazon and doing a search on your album. Then click the album art to get a larger image, which should be 500x500 and then use that one. It will look beautiful on the Zune screen and not like a small image blown up or stretched out.

mp3tag is free and it works with every mp3 device.

Yeah, the iPods (touch excluded) only do music...

I personally don't care either way, I just have all my music and videos shared via Windows Media Player and can view them from my 360 streaming from PC....

Just a question, but do guys really keep all of your music on your PC so it'll stay on your Zune when you connect it?

I know I asked about having to do this earlier in this thread, but I've noticed some slowdown since I put about 3/4 of my music on my hard drive. Maybe its just a coincidence, but my computer is lagging like crazy over the last week. I cant imagine you guys with the 80 putting all of your music on your HD.

Does anyone use an external HD for their music storage?

Yup, I have 1 HDD in the PC and 2 external HDD's. I keep my music on the external HDD.

            How big is your HDD?

Man, I honestly have no clue. I bought the computer in 2005, but I lost the paperwork during my last move. Does 160G sound right?

I know when I run a system scan through Dell, it says the memory is low, so maybe that has something to do with it.

160gb sounds right, that is how big my 1 external is. You can find out by clicking on "My Computer", then you should see a listing of all devices including HDD.....find the HDD, right click and click properties. At this point you should see how much HDD space you have + what is left.

If it says the memory is low, there is your problem. You may have eaten up your HDD space + your actual memory could be eaten up by resources causing all this.

Hmm. I'm seeing a pie chart, and it says the capacity is 145 GB and I have 100 GB of free space. So this doesnt seem to be the problem.

Maybe I have a virus? I run Adware and Spybot weekly, so I dont think thats it, but who knows?

                      OS=XP? LOL

512 RAM with 15% available, per this dell system analyzer thing I did. I'm assuming thats the problem.

Damn. I might need to upgrade to the 80GB model already. I realize I only have 4GB left on my 30GB and I still haven't put on a ton of discographies that I would like to put on.

How much is the 80GB model?

XP is cool, I think it could be better than VISTA imo......doesn't eat up resources.

Yup, the system RAM is your problem. With XP its recommended to be at 1GB, but if you can go to 2GB of system ram. You will notice the difference.

                          80gb is $249.99.

I know I have four total memory slots, with two available. Would it be overkill to get two 1 gig cards, or is that even possible? Do they have to be certain sizes? How about brands. Do I need to purchase through Dell or can I just look for the best deal?

BTW, if you cant tell from my previous posts, i'm not what you would call knowledgable about this kind of thing.

                                No problem

I would go to Dell's website and type in your PC model. Then you can look up the specs, unless your manual has it already on how much RAM your system can be maxed out to. Then you need to figure out from there what type of RAM is needed based off of the mobo and processor, but all that should be identified either on the site or manual.

2- 1 GB sticks should be fine.
