He is awesome, but when you watch it, don't watch solely for the violence and "badass-ness" of it.

One of my all-around favorite characters ever.

Can't wait for the DVD, and I never buy movie DVDs.

I keep forgetting that I have a Blu-Ray player now that I have a PS3. Guess this will be my first Blu-Ray purchase!

I loved the book though, very similar to the novel with some extra details - namely Ed Tom's duty in WWII that make the ending easier to understand and more emotional at the same time.

Required reading IMHO - but then again I think everything Cormac writes should be required reading.

Watched this today, really loved it. Kinda feel like I might of missed some of it though, like the point of the movie, haha. Probably gonna rent it one more time.

The point was that Chigurh is badass and that you should just give him the money.

I finally got a chance to check out my Blu-ray and I really loved the movie. I thought the ending was fine and had no problem with it. Bardem was simply masterful in his role as Anton Chigurh. He was a badass plain and simple. But nonetheless he totally creeped me out not just by his look but also by his lack of emotion. The PQ of the movie is just awesome. It looked and sounded great. I really can't wait to see it again.

Chigurh still would've found him. For one thing the transponder was still in the briefcase and well... Chigurh was just a bad *** and would've found him somehow.

We can only assume that. Chigurh got lucky in that he just happened to drive down a major road where hotels were situated on and *bingo*.

Beyond that, it would have been a bitch of a time for Chigurh to simply drive around trying to locate the signal. Didn't the 2 mobsters, that picked him up, say that they already tried to locate it through the transponder with no luck?
