Agreed. I got a DVD binder for my blockbuster purchases. Have all the cover art safely stored away.

Looks like I'll finally be able to score a copy of How to Train Your Dragon on the cheap.

By trying to be a badass you are missing some good movies, especially the final one.

I am just too busy trying to catch up on watching Criterion films to get into 16 hours worth of stuff about a boy wizard, but to each their own.

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**

So I went to my local Blockbuster, and I saw three previously viewed movies I wanted to get: Unstoppable, The Crazies, and 500 Days of Summer. They were all $9.99, so I would've saved $10 total. I couldn't find another two movies that I wanted badly enough (Edge of Darkness and Gamer were being eyed, but not nearly worth it IMO). It's not that there wasn't a good enough selection, but I already owned most of the ones that I would've wanted there.

Then an employee showed me to the new retail movies, where you could get three for $25 on all titled $12.99 or less. I spotted The A-Team and Unstoppable (again), both for $9.99. I asked myself: why are both the new and previously viewed versions of the same title the same price? I didn't want the ugly case, so the new one was more appealing... but I would have still needed to find a third movie, only to have saved $5 total on the deal.

I'm thinking I could just price match those at BBY, and find any other movie I might want there in the process, or just wait until Black Friday or something.

I spent about 35 minutes in Blockbuster trying to decide what 3 for the 3 for $20 deal. I was about to walk out when I spotted 2 copies of How to Train your Dragon...so went ahead and picked up that along with Horrible Bosses and Crazy, Stupid Love. I went back and forth between CSL and Pirates 4 for the 3rd. They had already sold out of The Green Lantern (which I don't know if i'd watch again after 1 viewing).

                    Big fan of HTTYD.

EDIT: After looking through my collection, #3 should have been Toy Story 2. I thought I already had it but wasn't sure. Nope. Have Toy Story 1 and 3.

^ Oh, I forgot to mention that none of those movies (HTTYD, Horrible Bosses, POTC 4, etc.) were on the shelves. I think that's what peeved me the most.

Correct. I've slowed WAYYY down on Amazon blu ray purchases. It's been gohastings and blockbuster.

EDIT: Speaking of blockbuster, Full TV seasons (previously viewed) on DVD are part of the 3 for $20 or 5 for $30. Picked up 2 seasons of Fringe, 2 seasons of 24 and the first season of Family Guy.

Unfortunately, TV shows on blu ray are still priced by the disc.

Anybody know if the Star Wars blurays will eventually be released separately? And if so, when?

                            Highly unlikely.
