My local B&N had it on the shelf when I was there last week. I didn't pick it up though since I saw the film many years ago and have no desire to watch it again. Perhaps if I end up collecting every Criterion BD sometime down the line (which is a distinct possibility) I'll pick it up, but until then I have no desire to own it. Especially with the Penn State scandal being so fresh in our minds, the content of that film is such a turnoff.

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
If you're thinking about waiting for a deal on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, I... umm... wouldn't.
From the last paragraph of highdefdigest's review:
When you add it all up, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' is a must own title. Even more so since Warner announced that it will be pulling all of the copies from store shelves by the end of this year. Get it while you can.
Also, the first 6 or 7 in the series are 10 bucks a piece this week at BB.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
They must be replacing it with a combo pack? Are they pulling part 1 as well?
Ah, I remember reading this. They're doing the Disney trick.
With the good news that Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and the franchise set will be available for the entire holiday shopping season comes one unexpected drawback: Warner Bros. will put a moratorium on all DVDs and Blu-rays of the eight Potter films beginning December 29th. The studio announced that new shipments will cease on this date and the films will remain vaulted for an undisclosed amount of time. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how long Warner Bros. will stick to this commitment (especially since Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 will soon be due for Ultimate Edition treatment).Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 11-18-2011, 12:11 PM.

Warners said it will stop shipping all titles, including box sets and special and limited editions. That includes the final title in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which hits stores Nov. 11, as well as Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I don't understand this considering the movie came out in theaters this year. Disney's approach makes more sense because they vault their older movies.

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Blockbuster's Open House starts tomorrow. Used DVDs, blu rays, and video games under $14.99 will be 3 for $20 or 5 for $30.
Most Blockbusters have the new Warner Bros. movies (Green Lantern, Horrible Bosses, POTC 4, Crazy Stupid Love) marked at 9.99 so will be eligible tomorrow.Comment
