Hitman is an average action flick. Not bad but not great. I damn sure wouldnt spend 20+ dollars on the bluray.

Thanks, I was going to blind buy this but I'll wait for ebay to get it cheaper. I haggled with a guy on HDD.com and he sold me WAR for $15 shipped, so maybe I can do the same with Hitman.

ID4 is a total pass for me, I can't believe we didn't get the director's cut also on the disc, when Japan did. Shame on Fox.

I saw your post at HDD.com a few days ago where the guy was giving the specs, I don't blame you if you have the better version for extras, but the PQ looks amazing from the pics I have seen. Now the price tag is the most unappealing piece to me, more than missing extras....stupid FOX.

Blu-ray.com reviews ID4 and gives it a 4.5

Presented in 1080p high definition and in its original aspect ratio of 2.35:1, Independence Day on Blu-ray sports a very good transfer, but one that also shows the film's age. While detailed and clean, the image isn't as sharp and distinct as I would have hoped, but that is not to say it's bad.

Simply stated, Independence Day on Blu-ray is a deafening, high-powered listening experience. Anyone interested in what is perhaps the loudest, most powerful track yet on Blu- ray needs to stop reading and hurry out and buy this demo-worthy disc.
