    Scrubs heading to ABC

Is this still their final year? Or with this deal would they continue the show? Odd that it would jump networks in the final year

Yes, still in the final year.

        Re: Scrubs heading to ABC

I just want them to finish out the season/series on network TV, and give it the ending it deserves. I find it hard to believe that all of the cast is willing to come back for another year. They all said how hard it was to do this year with so many outside projects. Plus, if Bill Lawrence has written the ending that he (and the cast) thinks is wonderful, how would you come back for another year?

From the reports, the move would be just to finish of this season with a full set of episodes.

Will the final year be in HD at least?

Well isn't ABC the network writing it anyways?

Either way, if it gets extended for another season, I'd love to see where they go with it.

ABC Productions produces Scrubs, so yea it makes sense that they would bring it in-house.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I'm sure its in the posted links, but I heard NBC wants to cut this season to 12 episodes instead of the planned 12. That is a terrible idea for the final season of the show, they should let it play out as planned and end it properly. I don't know if moving to another network and adding extra episodes is the right solution, but they should be allowed to finish out the final season completely.

NBC is a joke...but Scrubs got old a long time ago. Maybe it was because NBC keep screwing with the show, I don't know.

NBC is nothing more than 3 shows, Deal or No Deal, Law and Order and Dateline. All of which or crap.

The Office isn't bad. But other than that, you're right.

Edit: BTW, how is it that Scrubs is produced by ABC, but shown on NBC??

ABC Studios produces a lot of shows that aren't on ABC, Scrubs, Criminal Minds, Dirt, Monk, and a few others.

I know, that's weird to me.. I did a little research and saw that ABC has a bunch of other shows airing on different channels. But how does that work? I guess I don't get network television
