Ya... I didn't find it funny or entertaining at all. Really disappointing.

Watched it again through Netflix. While it was funnier than when I saw it in theatres, I was still disappointed. This coming from a guy who loves Jack Black and Ben Stiller movies. I don't know, I guess I had too high of expectations.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious. There weren't many scenes when I wasn't laughing.

Tom Cruise was great - as were the rest of the cast. They all really did a great job, whoever did the casting chose well.

Either the movie wasn't funny or the same situation applies to my wife and I. It just wasn't that funny IMO. To think, I went to 3 different stores looking for the blu-ray version before finding it and now I'll probably never watch it again. Such is life...

You're blind buying Blurays? Trade it in at BlockBuster and at least get a $10 credit for it.

For the most part, no. However, I had heard so many good things about this movie that I went out and got it (oddly enough, my wife was all for it as she heard a lot of good things as well). Oh well...

I didn't buy it, but after all I heard I thought this was gonna be great. It had funny moments ("Never go full ******" among others), but it was missing something for me too.

                    Thought this quote was funny.

Seeing Tropic Thunder was never a big priority so it took me a couple years to get around to its viewing. I fell asleep halfway through but came back a few days later and finished; wasn't too shabby a movie really. Big fan of the lead farmer.

I'll say this though, I was that guy who waited the entire movie for the Tom Cruise cameo. So that was fun.

After hearing about Les Grossman on MTV and then watching it, I decided to watch this again. I think it's a pretty underrated comedy. The first time I watched it I thought it was stupid. But they have some funny quotes in it. Robert Downey Jr character is hilarious.

I wouldn't call it underrated. It was very popular. Hell, Robert Downey Jr. got an Oscar nom out of it.

                        I liked it pretty well.

Yah, I loved this movie. I think it might be time for me to finally nut up and buy the bluray.

                            I love this movie.

Every scene with RDJr is hilarious due to his facial expressions. Without him and the expressions that accompany all of his lines - the epitome of which comes when he says "What you gettin' at with that script-****, spit that **** out man!" and the transition from smiling to exaggerated deap-pan that follows - this movie would be no where near as good, and would be another stupid Ben Stiller/Jack Black comedy that I would've seen once and dismissed.

Also I watched the movie with commentary on he he kept the act going until he said they line "I don't drop character till I do the documentary." Hilarious stuff.

Cruise to make Les Grossman a leading man: Actor’s character plans to ‘make Citizen %$^#@* Kane look like a piece of crap.’

It was funny in Tropic Thunder, but I don't think its worth a whole movie.
