It's like comparing Steve Francis or Marbury to Jordan and Magic. One group was very good for a time, but the other is undeniable classics.

    And I don't like ODB.

I'd also say Common and Talib Kweli. But that's coming from a 31 year old cat.

I couldn't agree more. I could listen to Common and Talib all day.

            Talib is vastly overrated.

That's any interesting thought mood. It's probably the first time I've heard somebody say that.

I think he gets more hype than hes good for, but I think "vastly" is over doing it...

LOL at the whole title debate, i think some people just like drama...its DeGrassi around here sometimes

BUT ANYWAY, you should check out some of Kanyes earlier stuff "Freshman Adjustment"

Not to me cause b4 today I never heard of him, LOL!

I just got about 10 of his songs off of itunes so far so good.

I don't care what genre it comes from, you know quality music when you hear it.

                        Definately listen to Nas.

The greatest MC of all time, hands down. Especially, given your list (Lupe, Kanye, Jay, Roots). BTW, those are all artists I love.

Nas is about as "quality" as it gets. He spits some real stuff.
