Not the last time I went to one. Unless, entertainment is paying too much $$ for ****ty drinks and having to deal with douches trying to get laid, bad house music, and girls wearing stuff that would make Jenna Jameson blush.

I went in this place called Hom ("Home") and it was terrible. House music with all these crazy little guys looking like Jamaroqoi or whatever his name is. They were dancing like his Virtual Insanity video and freaking me out. Then I go in the bathroom and overhear them saying "This DJ is tearing it up". It's f'n house music that sounds like it has been on repeat the last hour!

It really depends on the club and the type of bottle. I typically get one bottle of JD (About $175) and a bottle of grey goose.($250)

So if there's a booth of eight people:
$425 (includes line-bypass, free refills of chasers, best sitting arrangement in the club)
Mandatory Tip is usually 20% ($85)

Remember, that's just for two bottles, so if you want more it's going to cost you more. The bottomline is, look at how much you're saving - it typically costs $10-$20 to get into a joint, plus drinks are more expensive individually and you have to tip on every purchase. Not to mention, you have no choice but to stand or lead against the wall, whereas there's a nice comfortable booth for you and your friends to chill at.

Back to the original topic. If some girl walked up and asked me to buy her a drink, I'd say no thank you. But when I go out to the bars, I buy people drinks all the time. I am what you would term a happy drunk when I am out (which is a rarity these days.). I buy drinks for my friends, people I just met, I buy rounds for the group of people I am with all the time. Most of my friends do the same thing.

I'm the same way. I think the one HUGE gap in communication here is the assumption that every girl you talk to is some kind of target of conquest. Sometimes it's just nice to have a great conversation with someone that's nice to look at. Sometimes it's nice to dance with someone who's nice to look at. And you shouldn't have to pay for either, but if I'm out and I meet a random girl and we're having a good time, I'll certainly buy her a drink. DC may think it's paying to try to get in the panties in the future, but if we're going to reduce it to such a simplistic level I look at it like payment for helping make my night more enjoyable so far. And I think a lot like Nivek. I don't play games and don't deal with anyone that does. Even a great conversation can be ruined by someone asking for a drink, but look at it from their perspective. If you just came out and asked for some a** you may get slapped by the same girl that might give it up at the end of the night if you chill with her without appearing that that's all you want from her. I'll buy a random guy a drink if I'm chilling with him at the bar talking about sports, music or whatever for a while.

I guess I'm similar in a way. I recently realized that I dont compliment women much. Where some guys immediately say that a girl is beautiful or looks nice tonight, I dont. Girls Ive dated said they like that because its a challenge and when i do compliment them...they know i mean it. The difference between me and DC is I dont even realize I'm presenting them with a challenge. He purposely does that.
