Thats ALL I am trying to promote. Hell women are allowed to have their "Feminist" movements but we as men NEVER do anything to uplift each other.

I don't know if many of you notice how this society caters to the woman and basically ATTEMPTS to minimize the power/influence of the man. Especially in the black community. But that is a whole different topic.

Assigning females, and males for that matter, to specific roles that they should fill is oppression. Saying a woman should do this, or that, and men shouldn't, is trying to oppress women by assigning them to a specific role in society.

i stopped right there. that sexist mindset right there is the reason why i practice anti-woman's rights. where is "being courteous to men" chivalry? equality my ***. once again i practice anti-woman's rights, once they save my butt on the titanic, i'll change my mind.

Once they save your life on the titanic? So you want women to save you nearly one hundred years ago? Yes, I am sure there were no women who tried to save their husbands from the icy waters. And what if there was a substantial amount of women who did that, but they were the ones who didn't survive? And above all that, women and children are saved first in disasters for a good reason, I'm not saying one life is more valuable than another, but in terms of survival and biology, women and children come first. While it is our cultural ideal (or at least a popular ideal here) that the man sticks around and help raise the family, biologically, after the girl is pregnant, men aren't as necessary anymore.

Anyways, to me it is no big deal to hold a purse quickly, it isn't like my girlfriend asks me to hold it for 20 minutes or anything, it might be what, 10 seconds? It is really, to me at least, a stupid thing to really argue with her about endlessly. We spend so much time in life over things that really, in the whole scheme of things don't matter, and really, holding a purse for 10 seconds is one of them. I really don't see how that makes you less of a man at all. I have been asked, in about 3 years to hold a purse for MAYBE 20 seconds total. And if you think that makes me less of a man, then fine, I don't really care. I also hold open doors for my girlfriend, give her my coat if she is cold, I'll walk on the rougher part of the path so she won't have to. When we were first going out, she said that really impressed her, and she has been the best thing to ever happen in my life. And it really isn't like I do everything for her, not by a longshot.

im all for full equality but its not like it can actually happen. no matter how hard you try there are going to be things that only women or men can do, and they will do it. but if we are pushing for equality, or more importantly women are pushing for equality, lets not act like women don't have advantages as well as men.
