The Storm sucks as a touch screen phone. I dont like the way they handle the interface at all. You have to make a touch screen as seemless as possible and anything other than that is a chore.


As for the new bb's without the trackball, its time to find another solution as the trackballs over time stick, collect dust under them in the motherboard, so im wondering how the trackpad works... Its not as good looking but could possibly be more functional with less issues to fix

just got a htc touch pro 2 and mehh havent gotten used to it. How does this compare to the bb tour? i'm thinkning of switching to it.

Any T-Mobile users using a My Faves plan with the Unlimited Data/messages plan. I'm debating whether or not to get it. 39.99+34.99 (the data/messages plan) will probably round out to $80/month after taxes. Any advice to my blackberry brothers...is the data plan essential? How much are you guys paying for your plans?

Stupid question for you guys, if I buy a unlocked ATT phone (say the Bold or something) but I have a plan with Verizon, will I be allowed to activate that phone or no? Thanks

Nope, they run on different types of networks. ATT is a GSM network, while Verizon is CDMA.

Dont know if this has been posted or not, but does OS have a BBM group for the new 5.0?? If not, I could start one and provide barcode. I think it would be good to have OS peeps in a group to get some SIM games in on Madden and NBA 2K10.

Supposedly the Storm2 comes out the 25th of this month.

I just recently ditched my iPhone and jumped back to Verizon and got the Tour.

So far I would color myself unimpressed with the Tour. Their are some things I like about it, but the trackball is constantly sticking it feels like. And the back cover of the phone was not manufactured very tightly. Not just my model either, I saw a thread on a blackberry forum about a lot of people having an issue with their battery cover.

The keyboard seems a little too cramped as well.

I bought it from best buy, I believe I have 30 days to return, if the Storm2 comes out and gets solid reviews I'll probably switch to that.

I have the tour and im 5.0 as well I love that ish.. the browser is also alot better. combined with bbm 5 and the threaded sms you gotta love 5.0

I simply can not wait for the Blackberry Bold 2 aka Blackberry 9700 for Tmobile. Plus if rumors are true that Tmobile is looking to shake up the industry with $50/mnth unlimited everything, I will be in heaven.
