Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
can't stand touchscreen phones. My iPod Touch showed me that I wouldn't like it as far as texting, emailing, etc. I'm addicted to my blackberry.

I have the 8900, not available retail until 2/11. Get the right rep on the phone at T-Mobile and can get it now. It's supposedly only available to Business customers.Last edited by SoMiss2000; 01-30-2009, 09:14 PM."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
I think I'm about to head out and get myself a 8330 Curve with Verizon. I get a 20% discount on their plans because I'm a city employee. Nice little perk.
The plan I'm looking at is $100/month so $80/month sounds so much better!
ACTUALLY
I think I'm just going with a Voyager. I don't NEED email capability and that is at a huge premium right now with phones.Last edited by Guest; 01-31-2009, 03:28 PM.Comment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
Got the LG Voyager. Didn't have to pay the activation fee and I'm really happy with my decision. I was tired of AT&T anyways...all the people I talk to had Verizon.
The web browser is very average though...but I don't plan on using it all the time. I love the touch screen/keyboard.
BTW I'll get out of this thread...I'm hijacking.Comment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
I have both (Don't ask full retail makes me cry) and honestly it depends on what you're looking for. Blackberries rule for reliability, reception, and call clarity. The screen is simply AMAZING! iPhone has more of a fun, wow factor, and still the best web browser on any phone. I feel as though I can do more with a blackberry but with the app store, the price on apps for the iphone kill the prices on blackberries, windows mobile etc.. I know this doesn't really help but either way you're getting a great device it's just more of what you're looking for. Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
thanks for the response. im gonna get the iphone. i dont do much with my cells, just text a ton, would surf the net more with iphone obviously. blackberries i like the look, but cant get used to the lil ball scroll. plus, for what i do, i dont need to be that organized. blackberries to me seemed to be geared towards a more organized bus person etc.Twitch
