Sometimes they will after you pop it out and clean it with the air in a can, but most of the time the thing is too damaged. Even if it works at about 90% it gets worse over time.

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
Ok I've decided that I'm probably gonna be getting the 8820 or the Curve. Anyone have any suggestions on which is better. I want something with wi-fi access as I'm saving money right now so data plan is out of the question. I run with T-Mobile if that helps.Favorite Teams:

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
I have a new question. I spoke to someone at tmobile about switching to the curve and they said I'd at least need to get the 14.99 text plan or the data plan. I said I'd go with the text since I plan on using wifi. Is that a good planFavorite Teams:

I dont know that T-Mo makes you have it. You wouldn't need if you didnt want to use it. If you're upgrading go to a store or do it online, DONT go to a kiosk or 3rd party (IE Car Toys). T-Mobile pays 3rd parties less for upgrades so they charge more. And I like the 8820, the other line on my account has the curve.Comment

sorry for the double post. I don't know how to edit post from my iPod. But when I had my pearl had no data plan and the 400 text plan. I'll just order the curve online and use my current plan and wifi. No point in pay 20-30 bucks extra just because if I don't have to.Favorite Teams:

Love how the new Storm update gives me a full keyboard, even when holding the phone vertically.Comment

Re: The Official BlackBerry Thread
Got my BlackBerry yesterday finally from T-Mo....got the above phone, the Curve 8320.
I wanted the 8900 but with T-Mo forcing you to get the BlackBerry data plan (which is ok with me) and the fact that the 8320 was half the price of the 8900, I went with it.
I absolutely LOVE this phone so far...I can see why BB's are so popular and I can easily see myself never owning any other phone outside of the BB.
The thing that surprised me the most probably was how quick the browser is and how well the internet works on the phone...and that's just on EDGE, haven't tried a WiFi network which I hear works even faster.
I like all the apps. and just the versatility of the phone and what you can do with it...seems almost endless.
Having some trouble with the Qwerty but that's to be expected...not used to it, slowly coming to me though lol.
I literally spent yesterday and last night just going through the phone, getting used to everything, and finding stuff...haven't even started looking for apps.
Bout ready to get on that now.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment
