yeah, that's how David Simon found her. She did time in Jail before and Simon basically had her play herself. Not really acting when you think about it but a good character none the less.

Trob and everybody else....I am now a believer man. Ya'll and everybody else that kept bugging me to see it weren't lying about this show.

I'm already halfway through Season 2(been watching all the episodes online)and this joint is like that!

Not really feeling Ziggy and the rest of the Zabotkas so far but my favorite characters as of now have to be Stringer Bell, Bunk, Avon and Kima.

But yeah...I am now a believer.

Rock-Other than the Ports, Inner Harbor and the Rowhouses, I couldn't even tell you much about it. I grew up closer to DC so I couldn't tell you the difference between East Baltimore and West Baltimore, although I know that Westside is rougher than the Eastside. Wwharton could probably explain this better than me since he's from there lol.

JayBee-I could never find myself being a Redskin Fan even when I stayed there(live in NY now)but I've always kinda rooted for the Ravens to do well since two of my favorite players play for them and I have family on there as well.

Question for everyone else, is there anything important from Season 2 that I'd be missing if I skipped the rest of it and went straight to Season 3? I finished watching Episode 9 last night but this season seems like a complete bore compared to Season 1 and I want to hurry up and start Season 3 but I don't want miss anything important in the rest of the episodes before moving on.

Pretty much. You will see many of the non-Sobatka characters again.

I love this show so much, has a special place in my heart... except Season 5. I can't stand the last season. To me (and I know i'm different because I really like season 2) it seems like a Network version of a Wire season (ala Pan Am to Mad Men) and almost all the story elements in it I don't buy for a second.

Also as good as this show is, I still think Sopranos is better. But hey, thats just me.
