Re: Who listens to Christian music

I don't listen to much Christian music because I'm a big hip-hop fan but I do like Hillsong United because a band played a lot of their songs when I was at a camp a while ago. Them and Kirk Franklin and that's pretty much it, although I do like a lot of hip hop songs that focus on Christianity rather than the typical bullcrap (see Cassidy's last album, some Chamillionaire, some DMX, 2Pac, etc).

Run Kid Run is a Christian band I've really gotten into lately.

The song "Freedom" absolutely gives me chills.

Ah yea, I forgot that Chevelle was at one point "just a Christian band". And I also forgot to list Mae, TobyMac, Skillet, Pillar, and Decyfer Down

Yeah Hillsong United and their adult worship team are the best. I like Chris Tomlin Israel Houghton and Kirk Franklin. Hezekiah Walker has really good old school black church gospel music.

Yeah, but not like you think. I was at the door collecting tickets and then when the concert started I just stand in the front row. It was really easy, but there where about 5,000 people. And a lot weren't church people. Jars has a pretty big following of non church people.

I listen to quite a bit of contemporary Christian music, including Jars of Clay

but my favorite is classic gospel

I use to ride in a car for 40+ minutes to school every morning for almost 15 years I think. We have this station for Moody Radio here in Chicago. Loved listening to it because it was such a variety.
