I regret not getting tickets for one of the Garth shows when he kicked off the tour here in Chicago.
It's a stupid reason, but I really, really, really hate when he goes into "Mr. Trisha Yearwood" mode and drags her out for some set of duets or whatever else they've done over the years. So I was "meh" on the possibility of that, and I guess that ended up not happening. Oh well. My mom, brother, and sister had a great time.
Garth was actually my first concert back in 1993. I can't remember much about how it happened (I was 8 and not privy to details), but he was here for a few nights; so my parents, aunts, and uncles bought a few tickets for each show and then just split them up so everyone was able to go to one show.
Sorry if this has been mentioned in this thread, but I just have to say Sara Evans is one of the most gorgeous and talented female country singers in the business. I don't like a lot of female country singers but she is my weakness.

Actually used one of his songs at my wedding for the mother /son dance- "It's Your Song"
My buddy put on some Zac Brown Band on the long ride home from New Hampshire this past weekend. Pretty good.
I listen to 0 country, mainly sticking to my underground scene of pop-punk/rock/alternative/whatever but I'm pretty much open to anything.
There was a good mix of songs off their album Jekyll + Hyde. Maybe it was a concept thing considering the title. Was that Chris Cornell on one of the tracks?
NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Yes it is the song is called Heavy is the Head and it just went number 1 on the rock charts
Do you guys like late 90's and early-mid 2000's country? My favorite is George Strait, Sara Evans, Toby Keith, Deirks Bentley. Kenny Chesney's early stuff, and so many others I can't even name.
I go through phases where I'll listen to metal, hip hop, and country. When I land on country that's usually the time period I'm in.
George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, etc.
It's the country I grew up listening to and it trumps anything new easily.
There's a huge myth about country being dead, but there are still some good modern country artists that are good or fun to listen to as well.
Like I said, don't know or listen to much country. But there seems to be a strong cast of country artists out. Maybe not straight on country, more pop-country artists. They seem to be pretty popular with many age groups and draw well.
