Random, but curren$y has put out new stuff every month of 2016. I can't get enough of his music, even the old stuff. Dude has the chillest flow to go on top of his unique instrumentals.. even got my friends listening to him now

Curren$y is like your favorite sitcom, you just put it on and watch. Doesn't matter the episode/song, doesn't matter the season/album, you put on Curren$y and you're gonna get what you want.

Does anyone have Tidal? If so, how is it and would it make sense to get it if I already have Apple Music?

I love Tidal. But I haven't used any other streaming services.

Im not giving money to any of these streaming services just for them to pull their music off of it and put it on another like Jay-Z did with Tidal, not supporting these games. Another thing is so much of rap music actually is just free mixtapes that im not paying to access the one album that comes out every 3 months that I really want to hear. I hate this a la carte method we're going to lol. Apple united everything under one roof to make it easier for the customers, now they're splitting it all up again. **** them.

I know at 10 bucks a month, I get to listen to everything under the sun so I'm happy. Plus no commercials or ads. Tidal doesn't really have all the various mixtapes but it does have the majority of every artist studio albums. For a guy like me, who likes to go all over the place musically, tidal has been heaven. Get a streaming service along with soundcloud and mix tape torrents or whatever and you'd be set.

Yeah I already have an insane collection of CD's my parents and brother have been collecting, I've basically got all of the old school 90's rap on CD and in my library already. I could see the benefit if I didn't already, but I don't pay 9.99 a month now to get music, like I said there's mostly mixtapes, maybe an album every few months I'll shell out for. There's really just not a lot of new music I would pay money for and I already have all of my old stuff. I'd be paying for them to store my songs on their servers (thinking more Google Play or Spotify in this instance) than I would to access music I don't own, and I've already got the iPod. Im the exact demographic that streaming services were not made for lol.

And like I said, I think the whole thing is anti-consumer and splitting all of the things I want up to get me to pay 9.99 to three different streaming services. Already have to deal with Netflix getting jerked by the bigger companies starting their own services. As Jalen Rose says "IM NOT GON BE ABLE TO DO IT"

I get exactly what you're saying. Its kinda how the HULU Netflix race is going right now. I have those both but it would be real nice if all the content from both were lumped together in one app. I have a ton of old 90s cds I'm holding myself but ever since I got Tidal, I can comfortably lay those cds to rest as it has every cd I purchased back in the day and then some. Plus all the hidden gems I forgot about, my No Limit collection is back, albums I didn't even know existed from top 90s artist and just having the option to go back and find anything is ideal for me. Plus adding music to my offline queue so I don't waste any of my data streaming is a bonus.

Do you only listen to hip hop and rap? Cause if so streaming sites don't really make sense for you

I have the student discount for Spotify and will have it for 2 more years so the $4.99 a month is awesome. So much music

Google Music is best for me with Youtube Red being free.
