I think Power is the only song I've heard, so I'm excited!

I think you're really gonna like it. I wish I only heard Power going into it, lol. I still haven't heard some of the final album versions of a few songs though, so I still have some "new-ness" to look forward to. Still waiting on that damn explicit version to leak too.

BTW J. Cole mixtape tomorrow if anyone forgot!

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Power(remix included)So Appalled(which actually came out in July)Monster, Runaway, Devil In A Blue Dress were songs that had dropped at least a month in advance and were on just about every single regular mixtape released between July and October.

Unless you've been living under a rock or don't really check around like that, there's really only 5 new songs, not including any skits. So that's really 5 new songs on a 13 track album(14 if you want to include any bonus tracks which more than likely will be either Power Remix or Christian Dior Denim Flow.

And the dirty version is already out too. So far, after one listen of the album, it gets an 8 from me. Not one of the top 3-4 albums of the year IMO but so far it's decent.

What's your top 3-4 so far Pack?

FYI, I haven't listened to Ye's new album, I'm just curious.
                PS: You guys are great.

Yeah, minus Storytellers (haven't heard it) I would probably agree. I'd have to think on it more though.

And once TM103 comes out, then I'm almost certain that'll probably make the list as well. I like Luda also but BOTS kinda disappointed me. Fell out of my rotation after about the first week I had it and Luda albums usually stay in my rotation for at least a few months.

Actually, most of the iTunes bonus songs are going to be new stuff.

Premier already said Mama's Boyfriend is one (really looking forward to that), I think Chain Heavy is another, and then there's a few more songs that are getting released. Another one is See Me Now, but we already heard that. It is a different version, I think with Big Sean on it, but I'm guessing for the most part it's the same song.

Anyways, good to hear the dirty version is finally out. Now I can listen to the full album. I held off listening to most of the clean version because a clean version of an album is just whack.

The clean version of Runaway that's on MTV right now is hilarious.

It's hilarious how that middle line totally breaks up the flow of that part of the track.

And now we're following that with F You. Not **** You. F You. At least that one makes some kind of sense.
