My list would be the same as Streets. I just added a few more names to it.

You right, I would put Face in the Gold Tier but ONLY because The Fix was so ******* good. If that joint was only average at best, couldn't do it then.

T.I and Luda FINALLY Squash Beef

Ludacris and T.I. ended their beef and recorded the track On Top Of The World together that is causing a lot of attention. The song with former foe T.I. is featured on Luda's new set Theater Of The Mind that will be in stores on October 21 via DTP/Def Jam.

"We had been talking under the radar for a long time," 'Cris told an audience of fans at a listening session. "We were just trying to figure out the right opportunity to surprise everybody."

"With that being said, we live in Atlanta, and Atlanta is small as hell, compared to New York and we've got the same circle of friends. It was never really beef between me and him. We felt, with everything going on in the business, there was no better time to make it happen," Luda added.

Furthermore Ludacris and T.I. are planning a tour together, but no details have been revealed so far.

As previously reported, 'Cris just released the video to his first single What Them Girls Like, a track that features R&B crooner Chris Brown and Sean Garrett. His second video Undisputed is set to be released as well anytime soon..

Theater Of The Mind will be in stores on October 21.

Jadakiss might be a fast worker, but Def Jam is proving to be pretty swift, too.

The Yonkers MC is still “a few joints away” from finishing up his third album, Kiss My ***. But his new label is pushing forward with his project right away. They—not him, he said–recently leaked the Jay-Z-assisted “Who Run This.’

“They rolling the ball a little quicker than me,” Kiss told XXLmag.com about his Roc-A-Fella debut. That’s why it’s going down [like that.]

“I still got my mixtape I got to finish, then the album,” he added.

So far Kiss has secured features with Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne (“Death Wish”), and he’s cooking up something with Ghostface and Raekwon. No official release date has been set yet for the album.

The potential first single, “By My Side,” featuring Ne-Yo has recently been serviced to radio. However, Jada still isn’t sure if that’ll be the first clip from his album. He also has records with Avery Storm, Barrington Levy, and his D-Block brethren to choose from.

It’s been four years since the release of his last album, ‘04’s Kiss of Death (Interscope), but the LOX front man is happy to still be relevant enough to be releasing material.

In between albums, the rapper dealt with a gun charge that was hanging over his head and a change in labels, from Interscope to Def Jam, that, according to Kiss, has inspired his material.

“This [album] I did by myself,” Kiss explained. “I do all of them by myself, but I did this whole project in the D-Block studio. It gives it a raw sound, just gives it my whole element. It’s all me, all inspired by me.”

Next up for Kiss will be a mixtape, then he’ll drop his LP. Right after that, a D-Block compilation titled No Security Needed will hit the streets. By 2009, he said, the trio of Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Kiss should be ready to come together for their long-awaited LOX LP.

“We riding the wave right now,” Kiss said of juggling all his projects. “We got the surf boards, we just waiting on all the waves.”
For the first time, I actually can't wait for a Jadakiss CD. Can't wait to hear the track he's doing with Ghostface and Raekwon.

Dec. 2nd is the release date for Blueprint 3.
If nothing else, things will get a lot more interesting for Jay-Z during the fourth quarter. BET.com's Nile "Low Key" Ivey reports, via the network's "Sound Off" blog, that Jay has decided on Dec. 2 as the release date for Blueprint 3. The rumor mill began circulating after Jay-Z and Kanye West leaked "Jockin' Jay-Z (Dope Boy Fresh)" in August. The album will be Jay-Z's last contractual obligation under his current agreement. Def Jam has not responded to requests to confirm the news.

Jay-Z has confirmed the rumor that he is working on his own version of "Swagger Like Us." He originally appeared with Lil Wayne, Kanye West and T.I. on the original, which is featured on T.I.'s upcoming Paper Trail. Guest verses from Young Jeezy, Nas and Andre 3000 have already been recorded for the Blueprint 3 version.

Additionally, HipHopDX has obtained documents naming Jay-Z in an intellectual property lawsuit. Reggie Evans, CEO of I Will Not Lose, LLC, is attempting to sue the multi-platinum rapper over the use of the phrase "I Will Not Lose." The suit lists Shawn Corey Carter and Iconix Brand Group, Inc., who purchased Rocawear in 2007 for $204 million.

The court documents, which were originally filed on Sept. 18, accuse Jay-Z and Iconix of intellectual property and copyright infringement. Jay-Z began prominently using the phrase "I Will Not Lose" in 2000, after releasing The Dynasty: Roc La Familia. Evans' camp maintains that they sent multiple unanswered notices to Jay-Z and Iconix in 2007 after trademarking the phrase.

New Nas Interview

Sixshot.com: You’ve been around in hip-hop for so long and you’ve been through the many different types of changes that the game has gone through. I know you released Hip-Hop Is Dead, which gives us a general idea, but how are you feeling overall about hip-hop today?

Nas: It’s dead, you know but it’s still inspiring to people who are trying to make music that sounds like they’re not trying to go down like that. They’re trying to keep the **** moving. There’s still money to be made because anything that starts off credible in the streets and then it goes global and it goes commercial then it’s obviously going to turn into something else. As long as cats are getting money off of it and cats are making music that makes me want to pick up my pen then I’m happy, you know? If there’s music that makes me want to throw it in my truck and just listen then I’m happy.

Scarface ALSO releasing his next album on December 2nd. This will get pushed back into 09 imo.
Legendary Houston rapper Scarface is currently gearing up to release his last solo album titled Emeritus.

Scarface recently revealed to MTV that Emeritus will be his last solo effort and all of his future efforts will only be collaborative projects.

“I don't retire, I quit,” Scarface explained. “It feels real good. The Emeritus record, the reason I'm so proud of it is because it's my last. I'm done, man. If you leave it up to me, I quit.”

“Only thing that's gonna bring me back [is] if I do an album with somebody,” Scarface added. “Me, Cube and Nas do something, or me and Jigga and Beans do something. It's gotta be a trio or duo. Me and Bun B do a duo. That's why I took that name Emeritus, dude. Because I'm gone. I'm retiring with honors and still holding the position.”

Emeritus will be hitting shelves on December 2nd. The set will feature appearances from Bun B and Lil Wayne.[Listen to "Forget About Me’ featuring Lil Wayne and Bun B

Rumor has it that BET's longest running program, Rap City, is going to be yanked from the network.

According to reports, the network's executives are pulling the plug on the iconic show on October 26.

Word on this news has been going around for years now, but sources are saying that this time it is official.

Since the departure of Big Tigger a few years ago, the show has seen three different hosts, J-Nicks, Mad Linx, and Q45.

But none of them have been able to restore the show to it's former glory.

At press time, however, the validity of this rumor could not be confirmed.

50 Cent: "No One Knew Jay-z Until He Married Beyonce"
50 Cent, long-known for taking jabs at other Hip Hop artists, had some interesting things to say about Jay-Z in a recent interview.

The Queens rapper said it was Jay's marriage to superstar singer Beyonce - and not his own music - that made Hov the international star he is today, according to PR-Inside.com.

"I'm a big fan of Jay-Z, but outside of the States and Hip Hop circles, no one really knew who he was until he married Beyonce'," said Fif in the interview.

The G-Unit general also said that reports of Jay-Z's total estimated worth of $1 billion is inaccurate. "I don't believe he's worth that much! It's all been exaggerated. I'm comfortable. I don't want for anything so I'm not in a race."

This far from the first time 50 has had less than flattering comments towards Jay-Z in the past, as 50 has criticized Hov's previous work as Def Jam president. The two had a very minor dispute years ago, when Jay-Z responded to 50's underground hit "How to Rob" by rhyming at a Summer Jam concert: "I'm about a dollar/Who the **** is 50 Cent?"
