The album tight, I'm really liking it, especially compared to T.I. vs T.I.P. He started off right with that 56 Barz and I am really feeling Dead and Gone. Live Your Life is a banger.

Damn, I'm slacking on my music LOL.

I've been bumping Devin The Dude all week, I done completely forgot about T.I.P's new joint leaking out early.

After appearing on numerous remixes including "Walk It Out," "Throw Some D's," "You," Jay-Z's "30 Something," and a few original songs such as UGK's 'International Players Anthem', Devin the Dude's "What A Job", and John Legend's 'Green Light,' ATLien Andre 3000 has decided to take the solo road on his forthcoming album.

In a recent interview with RollingStone Magazine, Andre reveals some details regarding his forthcoming solo effort due out early next year and to the surprise of many, admits he was never big on collaborations.

"I’ve pretty much been working with myself,” he tells the mag. “I’ve never really been that big on collaboration.”

“It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year," he continues.

“I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there.”

For fans of the rapper who can't get enough, Andre will be appearing on a new flick called Battle In Seattle, a film about the protests surrounding the 1999 World Trade Organization summit opening this Friday.
Most Anticipated Album of 09, imo.

                .
Marshall, we miss you. The fans have been calling for an Eminem album for years. There's still no official announcement of a single or album release date, but there is hope. Slim Shady appeared on his Sirius Satellite Radio station, Shade 45, and talked with DJ Tony Touch about his impending comeback.

"I always do side projects and produce for artists on the label," he told the DJ. "I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now — just banging out tracks. The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

Although Eminem did not specifically give details about his long-awaited next LP, 50 Cent — while promoting the movie "Righteous Kill" — told U.K. reporters that he recently recorded with Em for the album.

"You think I'm gonna let him make the record and I'm there and not be on the record?" 50 Cent said to ITN during the film's red-carpet premiere. "I had the opportunity to sit with [Eminem] two and half weeks ago for his project," he added. "I stayed with him for the weekend. His project is coming together. They're not gonna be excited till they hear the first single, then they're just gonna go right back to loving him all over again. They're gonna love Em like they loved him the first time he came."

"You'll be seeing him shortly," 50 told the BBC in a separate interview. "He's working. I spent the weekend at his house. Even though he tries to relax and stay home, it's impossible for him to stay in. A lot of material he wrote prior to this is being scrapped. He's got to feel like it's just happened, it's new and it's current. That's just how he is creatively as an artist."

The last time Eminem was on Shade 45, he was promoting his participation on Delicious Vinyl's Rmxxology; his contribution to the project was a remix of Masta Ace's "Slaughtahouse." Em also brought the always crass Ken Kaniff on the station to sing "I Kissed a Boy."

G-Unit rapper 40 Glocc might find himself getting kicked out of his Los Angeles neighborhood soon.

According to reports, if California Lawmakers succeed in serving him with an injunction, Glocc, real name Lawrence White, along with 18 other members of the Colton City Crips gang will be forced to leave their stomping grounds.

The 18 members have already received their injunctions, White however, was out of town when officials tried to contact him.

Authorities are determined his celebrity status won't render him immune from the law.

"There is no doubt he is still active (in the gang). He is one of those guys that believe he's untouchable due to the fact that he does have some money," a Colton police officer tells Hip Hop Weekly.

40-Glocc recently made headlines after a video of him surfaced on the internet in which he appeared to be threatening rapper Lil Wayne during a stop in an LA neighborhood.

Do yourself a favor and look up his "7minute freestyle" with Jay-Z way back when. they did it at a radio station in like '95. Big L makes Jay-Z sound like a joke. Much love to your new favorite rapper.

Where would ya'll rank Outkast in terms of All Time Rap Groups?

I'd have them somewhere between Top 3 and Top 6.
