Lil Wayne need his azz whupped.

I am watching the season opener of Saturday Night Live and I swear this dude just put on the two worst performances I've ever seen in my life. Oh my God, straight garbage. To start it off, he sounded HORRIBLE. I don't know what that gadget is that helps these dudes carry a tune, but it failed him tonight.

First he did the one song, 'This a Way' or whatever it's called, and that was terrible. Next he came through with 'Lollipop' and dude had a guitar on his back. At first I thought it was a big green lollipop but he turned it around and pretended to play it during a guitar solo. I couldn't believe it. When he was finished, I swear there was like a 3 second silence where I just KNOW the crowd was looking like, "Wtf?".

Man it wasn't even boring, it was just BAD. I mean, it was ridiculous just how bad it was, worst performances I've ever seen by someone who supposed to be a serious artist.

fter performing at Sunday’s VMAs, Lupe Fiasco spoke to Rap-Up.com about his third and possibly final studio album, L.U.P.N., due in stores by the end of 2009.

“I just don’t really feel like rapping anymore,” Lupe admitted. “I’m going to write a book and put out [other artists’] albums like Matthew Santos.”

Sadly, he stands by his word and claims it’s not another Jay-Z episode.

The “Superstar” rapper says he hasn’t even started recording the new album yet. He will begin work next year.

Damn man, Nate Dogg suffered another stroke
Recently, reports arose that Hip Hop legend Nate Dogg suffered a second stroke in less than a year.

Now, TMZ.com is reporting that the singer known for being rappers' go to hook man is in stable condition.

Reportedly, Nate Dogg is using an assisted breathing tube. The tube is apparently not essential, but makes breathing easier.

Fortunately for the West Coast native, he did not suffer any brain damage, contrary to other reports. It is unclear at the moment whether or not the stroke will impact him physically in any way; however, there is not much movement below his neck at this time, reports say.

HipHopDX.com wishes Nate Dogg a speedy recovery. More on this story as it develops.

The shroud of secrecy around Eminem’s forthcoming album was somewhat lifted yesterday, as label mate 50 Cent revealed the reclusive Detroit MC was hard at work on his sixth solo album.

Rumored to be titled King Mathers, 50 explained in reports that Eminem will commence with the project’s media campaign in next few months.

“You’ll be seeing him shortly. He’s working,” 50 told U.K.’s ITN News during a red carpet interview. “Even though he tries to relax and stay home it’s impossible for him to stay in.”

Fans expected the album’s release earlier this year after Dr. Dre disclosed to the Los Angeles Times in September 2007, that he was devoting two months exclusively to Eminem’s project.

Also increasing fan interest was T.I. revealing he worked with Em on a highly creative track pitting the alter egos Slim Shady and T.I.P. against each other.

However the biggest news was the Detroit superstar’s first collaboration with legendary board smith DJ Premier, who in April confirmed completion of a track entitled “Keys to the City.”

Unfortunately, according to 50 all these songs may never see the light of day due to Eminem’s perfectionist ways.

“A lot of material he wrote prior to this is being scrapped,” 50 admitted. “He’s got to feel like it’s just happened, it’s new and it’s current. That’s just how he is creatively as an artist.”

To date, the only confirmed guest for Eminem’s still officially untitled sixth album is 50 Cent.

At press time, the album is still tentatively planned for release by December 2008.

                      ******* Idiot

Louisiana rapper Webbie is currently in custody after leading police on a high-speed chase in Mississippi this past weekend.

According to WAFB, the chase took place on Sunday afternoon (September 13) after police tried to stop Webbie in his 2009 Dodge Challenger for a traffic violation.

During the chase, authorities claim Webbie crashed a into a 1999 Mercury Cougar but kept going.

The cops would lose Webbie after stopping to attend to the victims in the Cougar and Webbie's Challenger was found abandoned in a nearby Wal-Mart parking lot.

Witnesses told police they saw Webbie get into another car, a 1993 Ford Crown. Police would later find Weebie in the Ford Crown with two other men.

Webbie was arrested and charged with one count of felony eluding, one count of driving under the influence ,one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana and one felony charge of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

The marijuana was found in Webbie's Dodge Challenger. The two men who Webbie was found with were not charged.

Juelz Santana to Cam: "Bad Business The Reason For The Split"

Weeks after it was first announced that Juelz Santana has been released from his obligations to Diplomats Records, the rapper is speaking candidly about the details behind the split.

During an interview with AllHipHop.com, Juelz revisited the situation, revealing that the details were not as Diplomat Records’ CEO Cam’ron had previously made them seem.

“I vowed not to say nothing bad about Cam ‘cause I felt like he did a lot for me,” Juelz Santana told AllHipHop.com. “But as far as him selling me, that s**t just sound stupid. I’m the biggest artist in New York City right now, ain’t came out with an album in three years. He would never sell me. It was bad business, and I had to get out my contract. It’s so crazy to me that he’s still trying to make himself look good.

“It’s obvious what’s going on,” he continued. “You see everybody that’s a part of the movement still together but him.”

Juelz Santana said that he respected Cam’ron’s position as head of The Diplomats, but reiterated that bad business was the reason for his departure from the label, which distributed Juelz’ projects via Def Jam.

“It’s a line between loyalty and stupidity man, bottom line. And it’s gotta be drawn sometimes,” Santana told AllHipHop.com. “So as far as the fans, I hope they understand, that’s the realest quote I could give them.”

The statements come as Juelz Santana prepares to launch his first efforts as the latest rapper-turned-label head, introducing his stable of protégés via the release of Skull Gang Takeover: The New Movement To Move Wit.

The project will be available for free download starting next Friday (Sep 19).

The project will serve as an introduction to Skull Gang’s core members: rappers Richmond Rabb, John Depp, Unkasa and R&B singer/songwriter Starr.

Takeover also heavily features Juelz, who appears on every track on the project.

“I felt like the game needed something new just as much as they needed me right now, so I decided to give them both at the same time,” he explained. “I’m excited right now. Just as much as I’m excited for myself, I’m excited for my artists. I didn’t just put together artists that was around me. My team is really built based on talent. And, you know, I feel like we can only win. The music is strong, we just gotta execute the right way.”

Juelz is currently refocusing on his solo career as well.

The Skull Gang Takeover mixtape will be almost immediately followed by the Harlemite’s solo Regan Era mixtape, due out before the end of the year.

Both releases are paving the way for Juelz’ highly anticipated third studio album Born to Lose, Bred to Win, which he says will hit stores at the end of the year.

And although there’s some tension between the remaining Diplomats and Cam’ron, Juelz Santana remained loyal to an absentee Cam’ron.

“Me, Jim and Zeek is in the studio damn near every day,” says Juelz. “We wouldn’t be disrespectful and try to put out a Dip Set album without Cam. We just gon’ wait til he comes back. Nobody can find the third party though. What if your boss decides to say ‘I quit,’ you not gon’ work no more?”

Andre 3 Stacks says he can't save Hip Hop

Andre 3000 has never been the type to toot his own horn. So although his lyrical prowess has caused many to put his sparse verses on a pedestal, Andre has met the high acclaim with a cold shoulder.
“Man, I really appreciate that people appreciate what I do, but I don't like that type of pressure,” Andre 3000 told MTV recently.

He continued, “I hate it, to be honest. ... I cannot save no whole rap game. I mean, the rap game has to save itself. Everybody's saving it. People like Lil Wayne is saving it. He's bringing energy to it. You cannot put that all on one man, especially me. I write a verse every year. You can't do me like that.”

Crediting his success to opposition, Andre explained the naysayers in the early '90s fueled him and Big Boi “I work best when people doubt me. Our whole Outkast career has been built on people doubting us. [Fans] up North hated on us from the get-go. We wouldn't be OutKast if people didn't understand what people would call weird. You know, none of that would've happened.”

Andre concluded the conversation with a new way for his fans to show respect; by giving none at all. “If you see me, tell me I'm wack. That's the best thing you can do for me. You know, if you want a greater album, say that. Say that!”

Find out when Kanye West returns to hip hop! So, an EXTREMELY reliable source (Young Legend, GOOD LOOKS!) has just revealed to me that the title of Kanye’s 4th solo Lp is, 808’s & Heartbreak and it’s arriving December 16th. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, LowKey ain’t BS’ing, 808’s and Heartbreak will be hitting stores December 16th and you heard it from LowKey FIRST! I’ve also learned also that Kanye’s vocals for the entire Lp will be sprinkled with the Auto-Tuner (T-Pain’s magic vocal toy, lol). Why?? Don’t ask me, but I can assure you this will probably be 2008’s most interesting piece of audio.

After finding out the title to the LP, I now understand the title of the first single and its content. Legend also explained to me that this project will be somewhat equivalent to Andre 3000’s, The Love Below. Some are confused as to why he’s returning so early, but with the loss of his mother and the split with his fiance, Alexis Phifer, one could only imagine that type of ish he has to get off his chest!

“Love Lockdown” makes MUCH more sense now!
