I'm really feeling that Luda, Game, and Willy Northpole track. But this is definitely one of my favorite album/mixtape of this year.

      Top 3 imo.

Everyone should just download The Revival(the album I Gotta is on). It's never coming out but it's a good *** album.

I'm addicted to Luda's verse in that "Creepin'" song that's been out for a while. Chamillionaire is pretty good in it too, but Luda tears it up.

I was in the car today listening to a playlist on my mp3 player and a Mos Def track came on and it got me thinking, has Mos had the most disappointing career of any rapper?

From Universal Magnetic, Black on Both Sides and the Rawkus/Soundbombing/LL stuff I thought Mos had a chance to be a Top 10 emcee of all time. But he's been horrible since then, it's been a decade since he's put out anything dope and it doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon. Just a shame...

I don't mean to come down on you homie, but I'm sick of discussing this. Yes, he is a disappointment. It's sad... and I wish it was a sick joke... but ol' dude fell off, and honestly now... I couldn't care less. There are thousands better than him now. Sometimes you have to worry about these artsy-fartsy rappers...

Mos Dof is more focused on his acting career now and I don't blame him.

Chamillionaire with another mixtape. Not to mention MM6 coming out in the near future, and Venom as well. He is on fire right now. Anyway this is nice right here.

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread

Last night was Joe Budden’s Album Listening Party at Pop Burger in Midtown. All of the Amalgam Digital family were in there and were very cool. His new album, Padded Room, is much anticipated by all of his dedicated followers. Buddens flow is very unique and is not for people who don’t actually listen to lyrics of a song but listens to a hook and a beat. So lets get down to the album. Im the words of Budden, the album is “Straight Dylan” aka HOT FIRE. Not going to lie.. i knew the dude Joe can spit bars but wasn’t really a fan like that. But I dead *** got a whole new respect for him after this. He brought his ‘A’ game for this one. There is 13 tracks on the the “Padded Room” album, put out by Amalgam Digital which my dude Donny Goines is also signed to, and I can honestly say that 9 songs are mean. So when it comes down to it, Joe has a great album and should sell albums. But with the new difgital age, I really hope he can do some numbers because he deserves it. Some of my favorite some that you should definitely listen to when it drops on February 24th are “Blood on the Wall“, “Happy Holidays“, “Do Tell“, “If I Gotta Go“. But the one that I think is the best song and is his favorite is, “In My Sleep“. So all in all, this was a great experience for me because I will cop his album when it drops and I suggest that the people who appreciate good rap to buy it as well…
