Who is this Sosa fella every rapper seems to be referencing these days. Almost everyone I've listened to late has mentioned the names Sosa at one point in a song.

Probably one of the top MCs in Chicago right now, though the hypebeasts have begun to overhype. He makes great verses to ride or workout to, and is bringing the trap scene to the forefront in the Chi.

            Verse starts at 1:30:

Gave it a listen the other day, not a fan of Dom at all. Delivery is too slow for me. If I'm gonna wait on your words that wait better be worth it.

Understandable. For me it's the perfect summer album. I'm not listening to a Dom album for the lyrics.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering who'd dared to utter his name in a verse.

Little throwback here (Throwback Thursday, right?), one of the greatest lyrical displays I've heard:

Please stop saying Keef is a top rapper right now man. It insults my musical intelligence. lol

Seriously though, not to hate on fam and his winning streak he got going right now but real talk, I dont see this dude making it out past this summer.

I'm knee deep in the Chi music scene right now and from what I see, ppl respect his hustle but most agree that he's a flash in the pan. Kanye co-signing his track did wonders for his career. His producer Yung Chop stands to make a more meaningful career than Keef IMO.

                          I am as well.

He'll be bigger than ever at the end of the summer. You'll see.

So as I said before, I really liked Cunninlynguists Oneirology. It's a breath of fresh air if you will. Are their older albums of similar style?

Also Fly3, regarding that Kid These Days-Flashing Lights song, do you know if thats going to be on an upcoming project or something? Never even heard of KTD until today, so I'm about to start searching some of their work.

Gambino released another song 2 days ago, One Up. First verse sounded reminiscent of OLD School Lil Wayne to me. Still hoping we'll get some more personal stuff on the mixtape, but its not looking like we will this time around.

You should definitely get A Piece of Strange and Kno's album (ignore his horrible rapping though, he has features on just about every song and his production is some of the best in the business).
