Hot, wasn't it? If Dre ends up doing that verse I know I am not going to like it as much though. I've never been a big fan of Dre's delivery.

Detox, OB4CL II, Big Boi and Outkast Gangsta Grillz; seems like I'll be 40 by the time the albums I want the most come out.

Yeah not the biggest fan of Dre either. I know on Crack a Bottle It seemed Eminem wrote that verse for Dre..

Is anyone else annoyed by DJ Khalad? Sorry I just heard one of his songs, why does he talk in the beginning of every song! "We the best, we from the ghetto, I represent the hoooood" He sounds so fake, like a 12 year old kid saying it. I think he is the most annoying person in rap. I used to think it was lil jon but at least lil jon adds something to the song, and kinda stays on beat.

I just had to vent, I like a lot of songs he produces but I can't stand his talking and bragging in every one of his songs.

              WE THE BEST
              WHO'S THE BEST? WE

Khaled doesn't do **** but get the same people together on a song so that they can rap on the exact same beat over and over again. I don't know what kind of production credit he can get when the Runners and the one beat that they give to everyone do all the production on his albums.

I was having a convo with some friends about the best mainstream song since 2000, so I'll ask that here; What was the best maintream song since 2000?

I went with Breathe by Fabolous. A lot of Eminem came up, obviously. Anyway, interested in some of the responses. I know some of you will bring up songs that I have forgotten about, but Breathe has always been part of my rotation, just a great track.

                            Basically.

Of course "best" is a broad term that can mean a lot of things. I think "In Da Club" is the best because it has that "that was my JAM" factor, plus it was a huge hit on the radio and tv obviously, plus it launched 50's mainstream career.

Something like Breathe by Fabolous was dope obviously it just didn't have the same effect on rap music and wasn't ever really in my rotation like In Da Club

Edit: Off the top of my head, some other jams were Rollout and Whats your Fantasy by Ludacris, Damn by the Youngbloodz, and Still Fly by Big Tymers

                              Just curious. Who's everybody's 10 favorite rappers of all-time?

I'm not saying who you think are the best, but who are your 10 favorite to listen to?

Here's my list (no particular order):
                              Joe Budden (probably my #1)
                              MF DOOM
                              Nas
