new jada and ross are disappointing. Both have their moments, but not very good albums overall. Too many guest spots with r&b singers and not enough real hip hop.

The new asher roth is actually pretty good tho.

Aside from the lack of raping/killing, Bad Day from Asher Roth's album sounds like an old eminem song.

I listen to alot of different rap, mostly Southern Rappers. The names of some songs are getting a bit ********, but have good beats none the less and I can deal with it.

After giving his album a listen, I think I have figured out his problem as an artist. He really has nothing to rap about. The best songs (imo) on his album are I Love College, His Dream, and As I Em. And not surprisingly, those are the only ones where he is actually focusing on a topic. I will have to give Bad Day another listen and see if it falls in that category as well.
